There's a little-known but foolproof defence against sharks. Sharks will only attack you if you're wet. Sharks aren't the bad guys. If some stranger entered my house in just his Speedo, I'd probably attack him too.
Hi and thanks for the questions.... Yes it's visible to the public so when you are behind the net your friends are able to view you and film you in the exact same places this video was filmed from; behind the scenes and in the public gallery. I went by myself and wanted to film underwater but they wouldn't let me so I gave my camera to the family and friends of the girls i was in the tank with. No idea if the friends had to buy a ticket. Hope you enjoy it and feel free to post a vid response
Sharks were to me like dinosaurs are to the little one today, and technically they are, the live ones, except for the ones killed for shark fin soup. :-(
Hi Emma, Yes we were behind a net. but the sharks came up to the net all the time... you can't actually swim with them although that would have been awesome ..but frikkin dangerous at same time. Peace Chat soon
Hey dude, I don't know if GoPro's are water proof... i know the Contour is up to a metre but they say the electrical signal signal given off by the underwater kit... even though i had the water proof case around it.... could give off the electrical signal of a wounded fish.... i was gutted. Go anyway...it's a blast... and the nearest you'll get to it without shelling out thousands on a trip abroad. Peace.
Hi David... put it this way.. we all felt totally safe, despite the goal post netting and you get to be within inches, yeah inches of 2.5m sharks. without spending 5K on flight and shark cage hire in South Africa where else will it happen...... by the way I'm in no way employed or affiliated with the aquarium... Peace. And I hope she enjoys it.
Amazing! I'm planning to do it next weekend ! :) Thank you for posting this! Is this tank visible to the general public? If you bring friends can they watch, or would they have to buy the Spectator Ticket? xo
Hi Emma, No that is me in the middle of the three of us... i just asked a friend to film it for me...PS go to my channel and check out my playlist vids entitled "Monjo"...you'll love them.
Hi Kito, Over 15 different sharks including two impressive 2.7m long Sand tiger sharks, 8 sleek black tip reef sharks and two 2.2m Browns sharks plus a few tiddlers. Enjoy it... it's worth it.
the prices of the tickets are £125 each. isnt that a bit steep seeing as it said on the website you are only in the water for 15 mins? was it really worth it tho because my gf wants to go for her bday but i dont want her to be disappointed
And look at 5:14 ... they often came closer but seeing as i couldn't take my camera underwater I only have my memories. PS For the first 5 mins we had a shark asleep on the ledge behind us and didn't eve see it until it swirled the water and swam off.

Thanks so much for the video. I am going at the end of the month and I was unsure if it would be worth it but, it looks AWESOME!!!!!
205inez it really is! I didn't use a snorkel though! It's such an amazing experience and you get to walk around the aquarium before/ after as well!
Thank you soul sister...it was a bugger to edit.
glad you mentioned the soup bit...as mentioned at the end of the vid. And yes they are older than dinosaurs. Cheers dude.

Cheers my friend. Haven't heard from you for a while.
Very cool, I keep imaging that tank being in some rich evil villan's house LOL.
Sharks are the mostest coolest animal!!! And I second that!
Thank you dude.
It's actually in my evil uncle Ulriks under sea laboratory off the coast of Guam.... ;-)

Then it's false advertisement, because in order to snorkel with shark's there would not be a barrier Duh
can you be a bit more specific
