Great video!!! but i am still a little confused is it necessary to prepare a groove on the post ? i mean actually the fitness of fiber post is much more poorer than the casted post
Hi 🌻Grooves are mainly given for rotational resistance. As Fiber post forms a completely bonded unit with the tooth structure, so we can skip in this.

1.prepare as minimal as possible
2.diameter of post equal the post space
3.diameter of post is double than post space
3.apical diameter is 1/3less than the diameter at cej

Can we use a glass ionomer cement for cementing the post inside the canal?
Hi! Yes we can use GIC. Though, now resin modified GIC or Resin systems are more preferred.

Can fibre post be used in distal root of molar using gic as luting agent?
Hi 🌻 Yes it can be used. carbon post can also be used. Use resin cement as luting agent. Build core with composite resin.

Do all rct treated teeth need post and core before placing the cap? Or only in particular case where post and core is done? Can you please explain?
Hi🌻 No. All RCT treated teeth are not an indication for post core. The cases where remaining tooth structure is less and unable for retention of crown; tooth prone to fracture; or if it has to be taken as abutment for FPD/ RPD. These are the main indications where we plan for post & core.

How much the chances of GUM GROW IN PREPARED TOOTH SOURINDINGS, AND IF THE GUMS GROE, WHAT WILL BE THE PROCESS TO MAKE SURE THE TEETH IS ALLIEN WITH OTHER TEETJ ( FRONT UPPER TEETH)
@@iq1122 Hi 🌻 After tooth preparation, temporary crown is must especially in aesthetic zone to prevent any kind of disharmony in gingival contour. Chances of gingiva growing around prepared tooth depends on individual patient. If gingiva has grown around, gingivoplasty should be carried out. Gingival zenith ie level of gingiva is very important especially in aesthetic zone ( maxillary anteriors)

What should be post length for an average central incisor ?
Hello ! Thanks for your question 🌻
Post length should be such that it leaves 5mm of apical seal. It should be either equal to or greater than clinical crown length, equal to anatomical crown, half to 2/3 rd of root length.
For maxillary CI , avg crown length is 10•5 mm and root length is 12.5mm. Suggested post length will be around 7 to 10mm.

Hi! Extension of post in root, I have already explained all the parameters. And the core builup i.e in coronal portion should be done such that it acts as final restoration or foundation for artificial crown. 🌼
