Awesome! Looks like they were hitting pretty good that day! Looks like you were using my all-time favorite spinner, also! Way to go, catching the fish you lost a lure on. I've only had that happen twice in my life. Did you see any bears on the river?
When I got back to the truck there was a bear in the parking area, but didn’t see any while I was fishing. The Vibrax definitely out fished the Kodiak Customs that day!
Yeah they run every year but on mainland AK I believe odd number years have much larger runs. In Kodiak where I am it’s fairly consistent year to year. Thanks for watching!!
Awesome.... That's what I love of Coho Salmon. They gives you a good fight THAT'S PURE ADRENALINE. Nice video, go for more; locals and visitors still looking for them at the rivers.
I like blue, orange and pink/blue and black. Truth be told I prefer the Kodiak custom spinners over the Vibrax though🫣. Thanks for watching and the interaction through the comments, much appreciated!
Nice fish!
Thanks!

Fun stuff. Do pinks run every year in AK?

Definitely more fishing ahead. Thanks for watching!
Hey thanks for making this video! I'm having a hard time locating Coho. What rod are you using?
It’s a Cabelas fish Eagle II. It’s on the light side for coho but I’m more into the challenge than bringing home fish. Thanks for watching!!
is size 4 or size 5 better on average for the majority of fishing spots in kodiak?
I prefer #4 just seems to work better on fish that have been pressured a lot
@@kodiyakangler thank you, that makes sense!! how about color wise for the vibrax spinners?

@@kodiyakangler thanks for all the helpful information! I'll be up there next month, hopefully see you around
