While not ideal, if for Araujo one can get Kimmich plus Sane it is a good deal for current Barca. The central defence is already packed with Counde, Cubarsi, Inigo, Christiansen. Mikayil Faye is also of very similar profile albeit 2-3 years behind Araujo's development. With Kimmich coming it possible to sell Frenkie, and use the fund for NIco Williams. Sane, Raphinha, Nico and Yamal fighting for 2 wide positions will be great for the team. 3 of them also can play from both wings.
I disagree with you on the 1+1 year contract duration. I think it's a right decision considering we may see Pep, Nagelsmann, Klopp, (maybe even Arteta) available in 2025. If Flick does well, we can continue too. In the case things dont go as planned, we go for Laporta's first choices mentioned above without having to pay any fee to Flick. I think it's harsh on Flick but might prove to be fruitful in the long run.

Xavi came during our darkest times, took us from 9th to 2nd, won the league the very next season and this year we qualified for the QFs of UCL and finished 2nd..overall imo we have a very good tenure under Xavi..I won't call it a bad spell !! I disagree with you on the 1+1 year contract duration. I think it's a right decision considering we may see Pep, Nagelsmann, Klopp, (maybe even Arteta) available in 2025. If Flick does well, we can continue too. In the case things dont go as planned, we go for Laporta's first choices mentioned above without having to pay any fee to Flick. I think it's harsh on Flick but might prove to be fruitful in the long run.

Xavi came during our darkest times, took us from 9th to 2nd, won the league the very next season and this year we qualified for the QFs of UCL and finished 2nd..overall imo we have a very good tenure under Xavi..I won't call it a bad spell !! Yes, as a legend, he deserved a more respectful departure, but as a Barça coach, you simply CANNOT publicly express disbelief in the team. He reiterated his disbelief before Sunday's match against Sevilla. What kind of message does that send to the players? Which mentality does that create? A losing one! Yes, it is true that Barça is in a difficult position, but how are you motivating your players? It's the same mentality that Koeman had. It also harkens back to Ernesto Valverde's "It is what it is" remark. This a loser's mentality. If this is what your own coach believes, you've already lost mentally. We all know Xavi is not a top-tier coach; he needs time to become a top-level coach. Initially, when Xavi announced that he would leave after this season, Barca management begged him to stay, but after Xavi's press conference, where he stated facts, Laporta lost his composure and decided to sack him. It's just unacceptable. You can't disrespect our club's legend. You are a politician and decided to sack him because his statement could harm your reputation and spoil your party in the election.
Anyways Thank you for everything XAVI. You did your best with limited resources. Winning Supercopa de España & La Liga title in the first full season as the club's manager is not everyone's cup of tea.

If Barca sell Araujo and get 100M, they can spend a few 100M more and won't be able to get another Araujo. In fact, as a Madrid fan, I would love it if Madrid go and buy Araujo for 100M if Barca sale to Madrid. For 2 reasons. Firstly 100M is apparently nothing to Madrid. And secondly, Madrid want to pay 40-50M for Leny Yorro. So instead of paying 40-50M for Yorro, what an incredible deal would it have been if they paid 100M for Araujo. With Valvarde being the captain of the future for Madrid, Araujo and Valvarde are the superstars of NT so no coping issue.
