"because I don't think people care that much about your feelings, just the thought of it makes my heart ache" I always feel like this towards my girl, if her friends or family doesn't treat her the way I wanted her to be treated, I don't want her to be surrounded by toxic and fake people but I can't do much about it, I just can't get her away from those people and live in the middle of the forest just to protect her well-being, but maybe I don't have to protect it, maybe I just have to stay by her side and try my best to fix those parts of her that no one can protect
