In this video we go over the Fission 9 from Way of Wade:
Cushion was one of the biggest surprises from my experience - simply put, more BOOM = more fun. It’s got a 3/4 length BOOM on top of Light Foam Plus, so the midsole feels very comfortable and responsive with a lot of kickback in the heel. Forefoot cushion was also improved. Traction has been amazing for me, even on a very dusty court. This outsole can get you to a hard stop with no problems, and durability seems to be strong still. You can either go half size up or true to size with the Fission 9, and perhaps the only downside I can find so far is torsional support but the materials are nice and breathable.

How’s dust pickup on these - compared to say the likes of the luka 1s and UA Spawn 4 (Lukas pick up a lot of dust and the spawns don’t). Also how do these compare to the AE 1s; in the UK they are the same price 😊

Soo I was wondering, did you see that they got a new type of model, I think it's a fusion between the Yushuai Line and the All City Line, it's called the Yushuai Revolution Low and there is an absolute siiiiick colorway of it called Dragon Scale. Was wondering if you're interested in them or even know a way to get them? just from the looks it's promising IMO.

Yeah I haven’t got a chance to get the Evolution. Maybe I could give that a look, I really enjoyed playing in the Yushuai 17 Low. Will get back to you on that IF I end up getting a pair 🙏

Yup 808 3 Ultra V2 is another great one… So many good shoes already 😂 Other brands too.
Torsional support can be fixed by changing the insoles with Move Insoles or Orthotics with TPU/ carbon fiber plate, not a huge deal

Thank you!! Honestly I haven’t actually used either one outdoors yet, so it’s all speculations as of now but maybe the All City 12 for outdoor use. It also has better impact protection from my experience.

Umm they are similar actually. I’ll put it this way I think the Fission 9 is more comparable to the TWO WXY V4, low maintenance, no special materials but very comfy and good cushion. Excellent traction but just a low top and worse lockdown basically.

It’s a super tough call man. Both are amazing shoes, no bad pick really - Fission 9 has better traction, All City 12 has better impact protection. That’s probably the main difference I can think of.

Nope these are much wider and more spacious. You can go true to size with this one, half size up if you have wide feet.
Can I get the foam to work, taking into account that I am 190 cm tall with 65 kg and a 60 cm jump (I am a volleyball player, a middle blocker), and which is better, fission 9 or fission 8 for my weight?
I can’t be certain for volleyball but my guess would be it’s good. I think the 9 is a better shoe overall.

Those two are still better overall I think. Like this is more of a low maintenance option but surprisingly good comfort and traction. So there’s really no bad pick here out of these 3…
Please explain the sizing more clear. On Li-Ning size chart 27 cm foot length = 9.5. When talking about half size up, you mean size 10 (27.5 on Li-Ning chart)? Or you mean buy according to Li-Ning size chart, which gives already bigger size vs most other manufacturers?
That actually makes it more confusing for most people. Half size up is half size up from your normal true size, for example I wear a size 10.5 in most Nike sneakers, size 11 in most Li-Ning & Way of Wade shoes. If you can get the sizing right by referring to the size chart dimensions every time, there’s no need for anyone to mention sizing in a video.
Just thought I’d try to make it simple instead of more complicated. 🙏😃 But you’re right either way - when in doubt, go half size up with Way of Wade shoes.

Liren 3 V2. TTS with Liren’s, All City 12 fits the same as the WOW 10.

Honestly AE 1 comfort is insanely good. These are very comfy too but not in like a special way like the AE 1.

This is the second review I've seen of this model. It's interesting that you found the cushion to be almost too soft, meanwhile Chris at WearTesters said the cushion on this is so caged that it feels dead.
Just to clarify: I said this reminded me of the LeBron 20, those are too soft but these are NOT.
Chris is brain dead. These have plenty of cushion, I saw his review and am not sure what he was talking about. Foot Doctor Zach also gave these a great review

Tie… I’d always try to give a definitive answer but these two cushion are really at the same level. The All City 12 has better impact protection, so maybe that sets it apart a little bit.

They’re good for wide feet yes. More spacious fit and slightly wider than the Fission 8 as mentioned.

@@krismaniego7844 if you have regular or narrow feet yes, it’s true to size. If you have over 2E wide then go half size up. I am just under 2E, so wider than average. These took a few weeks to break in, but not they fit amazing. They felt tight for a couple weeks and I was worried about it, but they do break in.

I saw on the clips too but when I was playing in them I didn’t feel any heel slippage or anything. However you’re right compared to their other shoes like the All City 12, they fit bigger and more spacious. So half size up is not a must, true to size works too. 😃
