The reason I clicked on your channel is because I LOVED the hue of Ruth's skin🤗also because I loved the graphics👍🏽 I've been reading the scriptures for over 20 years now I've NEVER heard the Love story of Ruth and Boaz told in this manner you TAUGHT with a lot of PowerPoints I DID NOT KNOW there for I COULD NOT have explained as RICH and as FULFILLING as you did🤗... And as I lay here 10:00 a.m. on a Sunday morning thinking of how many people taught a Bible study about The Love story of Ruth and Boaz and did not teach with as much depth and inspiration as you did... I feel on this day ALMIGHTY God has been glorified through the way you dissected this scripture for us thank you for your time 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾💯

Wow, Keren. That was an incredibly touching and encouraging comment to read today. Thank you SO MUCH for your appreciation, kindness, and support. It means a lot!
At The House we've been deliberately committed to broader and truer representation of character designs in our presentations. For too many years, the illustrations of biblical characters have been white-washed again and again, despite this being historically inaccurate. Not to mention damaging, by reinforcing ideas of white supremacy, racism, and lack of ethnic and racial representation.
I'm so glad you enjoyed both the storytelling and the graphics, and it's exciting to hear that this story could be revealed and peeled back in a deeper and meaningful way.
May His shalom be felt especially closely today, and may He bless you.
Thank you again for listening, your support, and taking the time to leave such uplifting words.
      Nat

Beautiful story.... My take home point: "Some of the most important choices we make are those we make when nobody sees us, when there is nobody else around and nobody else would know. It's those choices that perhaps indicate the most the heart of the kind of person we are. Choices we make when nobody else would know."

I love how God usually uses people who were seemingly "rejects" in society. It's so powerful to me also the stories of Ruth as well as Esther pertaining to God's providence. Even when we think God is absent, His invisible hand is always there moving the chess pieces to achieve His Glory! Praise be to Jesus! Ruth went from being a poor barren widow to being part of Jesus' lineage. Powerful stuff. I LOVE how you broke this down. I had just finished reading the book of Ruth before watching this and asked Holy Spirit to speak and tell me what He wanted me to see....I believe He led me here❤️

Beautifully narrated, engaging and edifying, especially when showing how God is visible through the extraordinary choices of these ordinary people. It’s also very convicting, admonishing us to do the same! Lord, help our motives to match Your own and help us to be the men and women of God you’ve called us to be for Your greater plan and purpose, in Jesus’s mighty Name, Amen!!! 🙏🙌🙌🏾🙏🏾

Wow! A great retelling of one of my favorites. So appreciative! I'm reminded of Matt.1:5 which says that Boaz's parents were Rahab & Salmon (historical records say that Salmon was one of the two spies). Truly amazing, Salmon married a foreigner and so did his precious son, Boaz! God is truly no respector of persons. See Acts 10:34.

I have read this book many times..I have heard sermons..I have read devotional..but the background detail made me realise how much I was missing..detail such as the dangerous road back to Bethlehem. Or how a foreigner would be viewed or that Ruth was possibly barren..yet Boaz married her! I will re read in light of new found knowledge and watch my choices in my simple everyday walk. I saw the artwork in the thumbnail and was curious enough to choose this video to play while I cooked dinner. after everything was going wrong from the time I started gathering ingredients. from my kiddo having potty training accidents back to back to back, then getting into stuff that made her break out in a rash, so I had to bathe her before I could even start cooking, then I saw I needed a mixing bowl and the only one I had was dirty and I went to wash it and my sponge was GONE and I couldn't find it, and I knew I was running on empty, so even though I have been trying to keep on a low carb diet, I went and drank some juice anyway and I somehow chipped my tooth on a soft plastic straw! I nearly gave up to ask my husband to walk to the nearest store and pick up a pizza, but I decided to finish anyway, once I had calmed down....
that ending really made my eyes open anew. I love the question "where is God in this story?" I hadn't given it a whole lot of thought when studying Ruth before. I did notice a bit of parallels to Christ, but the way it was explained here was so much more in depth than I really had on my own. it really is amazing how God works through our choices and show His compassion. The choices of everyone in this led to the birth of an ancestor of David, the line that our Lord and Savior came from. God is good. even though everything is going wrong tonight, I trust the Lord will use my life to His glory.
