Nusrat, knowing you since December/1976 when I first arrived at Islamabad airport, you and Mussarrat picked me up from PIA flight operations, I never knew you were known as Baba 🤣. Yet another good Vlog. Keep it coming buddy.
Wah, brings back such sweet memories! I remember hanging out with you guys sometimes during rehearsals at the Harley street studio (after you took away JJ from our band). Also recall going out for street bun kababs during one of the breaks :)
This was so amazing. The way you described it, I felt like I was in the room too :) And the fact that you composed the "aisi zameen aur asman part" and got the ball rolling for the rest of the composition is such a testament to your musical prowess.
Walaykum Assalaam!! Arre... *NH* aap tu Sach main *Time Traveller* niklaay😊 *It's a super treat to get to watch you and hear you like this. You explain everything so vividly, with minute details that make your videos even more intriguing and engaging. It leaves us craving for more, non-stop!* The videos engaging content made it feel like a fleeting moment, the video ended too soon❤️❤️❤️ What's next, I'm hooked! 💙😊🤝I can listen you for "eons".. for real❤️
Thank you so much 🙏❤ I am also having a blast of a time making these. I so wanted to do this. 😊 Wesay I guess it is safe to say that your comment is as good as the vlog itself. Truly flattered 🙏
Nusrat bhai you reminded my childhood memories, Dil Dil Pakistan was my first song i ever sang in public during school time, its so amazing to know the history behind that and how it was originated, wow
There was an early version of DDP. But somehow it sounded a rough sketch I believe. Can you briefly explain the technology that was used to mix and master the album back then.?
Bohat Awla Nusrat sab, this reminds me of the golden words by JJ on a TV show:" I am forever Dil Dil Pakistan." I think this song was made for Pakistan, and it will live forever. May Allah bless you, JJ. Rohail, Shoaib sb, and Pakitan forever.
So much of musical history packed in these short vlogs. Your inimitable style and delivery is a treat in itself. Thank you for sharing the formative moments of your musical journey ❤
this is a treasure. i am 38 years old and I have been listening to junoon and VS since I was in diapers. Thank you, VS n Junoon, for being the soundtrack to my life. Your music has always been a source of inspiration, comfort, and joy for me. Each song resonates deeply and has accompanied me through countless moments. Your talent, passion, and dedication shine through in every performance.
And from this platform I will reintroduce you to Amrit my first solo album on which I am working these days so that public get to hear what they missed the first time 😅 Stay tuned n thnx for the support ❤
Always wondered where you had gone-so refreshing to see you, Nusrat Bhai! You guys were true inspirations for our generation, the pioneers. Apart from these behind the scenes videos, may I ask, if it’s okay with you, to create videos about your compositions, mixing techniques, and other aspects like the instruments, outboard gear, and plugins you currently use in your songs? That would be great. Nevertheless, keep doing what you are doing. Many thanks!
You have read my mind dost. In between these memoirs there will be vlogs of how to write a song. The do's and don't. How to be a song writer? Sb kuch btaya jaega, ooper walay ne agr zindagi di. Dua mein yad rakhain ❤
So this is how the magical song was created. Amazing! Your stories are really fun and interesting. If you have, do add some pictures as B Roll I mean old pictures of the room, and maybe all of you sitting together.
bohat Alla nusrat bhai...you all are true love and inspiration for all 90's youth...but one thing i truely regret that you must have been the part of other albums of vital signs too...please do tell us about it why you were not the part of other albums and where you were? why did you leave? Please do tell us about it...anxiously waiting for next vlog...stay happy and keep shining always in our heart...
Nusrat and his entire family, except his brother Mussarrat, were flyers. His late father was ex PAF, elder brother Capt Sarwat was ex PIA. Flying was inherently imbedded into Nusrat. Prior to being one of the pioneers of Vital Signs Nusrat was already a flyer with CPL. He ventured into following his other passion of flying and joined PIA as a first officer finally taking command of Airbus and thereafter joined Qatar Airways recently retiring as senior captain on Boeing 777. All this required colossal amount of time and regular recurrent trainings. Hence, he could not devote time to Vital Signs.
@@AbdulMalik-rf4un now having mixed feeling about his flying career and music, so Vital Signs must have been into his initial days, but the quality of music they and Nusrat Bhai produced, would be felt with whole heart millions of years InshaAllah...They surely made us learn what should be the quality and taste of music. i was very small nearly 6-7 years old and don't know what music is, what singing is, what is composing, what are lyrics, but 6-7 years child knew how to dance and enjoy at "GORAY RANG KA ZAMANA", "YEHI ZAMEEN","CHEHRA MERA THA", "DIL DIL PAKISTAN" and how to play guitar with just a broken WOODEN Stick which could not play any sound (HAHAHAHA) just to feel himself as a part of these most intelligent people of music.
Thanks for sharing the untold history of Dil Dil Pakistan, the un-official national anthem of Pakistan. I belong to that generation that grew up along side Vital signs. I was in class 8 when the first album was released. Used to listen to it while doing my HW. Loved every bit of it. Even now when a random song from that particular album is playing, my mind can subconsciously tell the nest song. Kudos to the team vital signs for givings us the best music. Dua-e-Maghfirat for marhoom Junaid Jamshaid. May Allah forgive his sins and grant him highest place in jannah. Aameen
"Congratulations, Nusrat, on the fantastic second episode of your vlog! Your insights into the production of 'Dil Dil Pakistan' are not only fascinating but also showcase your deep passion for music. It’s inspiring to hear how you bring iconic songs to life and share that journey with us. Keep up the amazing work!"

I would love an opportunity to share my music with you if you would be willing to produce it or lend a hand in composition ; given you like the songs. Leaving a message here as I cannot find you anywhere on social media nor can I find your email. -Kindest Regards,
