When it comes to training... I have a weimaraner, I only teach her the useful stuff, I want her to be a crazy dog, not a full-time obedient robot. Yes, it is much harder to live with her but I prefer it that way, she knows her place within the pack and acts accordingly. I find it sad when dogs ignore the surrounding world and just wait for instructions from the owner all the time. Fuck that, that's not living.
that's what the break command is for. dogs should only be like this when they're working. but it is very important to be able to get your dog to this level as an owner

For those of you questioning how skinny the pup is. It is a Weimaraner. That is how they look.
That is correct. Vets want to see a little bit of rib on Weims. Deep chested dogs such as this should show them slightly.
Skinnier dog is healthier than overweight dog
I have a 7 month old female Weimaraner and the vet didn’t want to see her ribs showing, she Weights 47lbs and is all muscle

I was thinking the same while watching this video. We bought our Weim pup to classes for life-saving commands. I love his quirks!

Same here. Want a loving companion, not a robot. Have had 2 Weims who were full of love and life, wouldn't change who they are.
