I can't believe I made this so quickly, but dedication and love does things to people... what a beautiful, bittersweet finale. We're getting another season and seeing them FINALLY come to terms with who they are individually and accept their mutual love for one another is EVERYTHING to me. They might not have kissed, but they shared a few very honest conversations and had to make a choice. They could've walked away from each other, but they didn't. I call that LOVE! I'm still very shaken and emotional about this and the fact that they WANT to be together and they will be... Villaneve is truly ENDGAME!

Every single moment, every scene exists so that these two can end up in a room together. They did. They had a chance to walk away from one another and they didn't. If that's not the confirmation of Villaneve being ENDGAME, I don't know what is.

I just realized the meaning behind Villanelle's "you're not family" directed at Konstantin, she now realized what Konstantin was capable of, he had played for both teams, good and bad one. had ditched her to save his ass several times and now having Eve by her side, she knew her places wasn't with Konstantin but with Eve.
And that's what I call character growth!
also this is what he said to her when he ditched her in the season2 finale “you’re not family” and villanelle says “are you choosing your family over me?”, id like to think she’s realizing now that eve is her family, and she’s choosing her over him. 🥺😭
i think she says that out of spite from the moment in 2x08 when k. went behind her back with and ended up telling her she wasn't family. in 3x08 the tables have turned: k. is the one who's left vulnerable when carolyn turns on him. that 'you're not family' was payback for abandoning her.
Hope they are stuck together till the end, n be a couple
This was a satisfying ending in my opinion. First season showed that they were similar in their primal desires (and capacity) to kill. Last season’s finale showed that Villanelle was down to manipulate Eve to have her depend on her, proving to Eve that she has no idea what love is. This season finale, she really could have taken Eve if she wanted to, but decided against it, and let her go instead-a complete 180 on what she did 2x08.
Here is where I think an actual (possibly close to “healthy”) development can happen between them. I’d give it up to the casting. They did a great job making this series a complete intrigue. Great video to start pride month with!

Villanelle finally understands love and is willing to let eve go peacefully. THANK GOD EVE TURNED BACK!! OMG SEASON 4 IS GONNA BE AMAZING!!! CANT WAIT!!!
Can Eve and Villanelle have a happy future together? Back then anyone would say no. Now? Now I think they have a decent chance at making his relationship work and both of them already took the major first step. Can't wait to see their relationship blossom in next season!
I loved the ending it literally made my heart melt. They truly love each other but I honestly believe that after turning around and taking a last glance they will walk away from each other. 😭 Too soon for a happy ending of ask me. But the ending was beautiful ❤️
They obviously love each other and they turned around showing they want eachother and just can't let go i hope the writers give them a chance to be together in the next season

Villanelle was giving Eve the chance to walk away one more time. They both started walking away but in the end turned back to each other after they realised they wanted to be together. I’m not sure Villanelle was ever going to leave Eve, she was testing is Eve would leave her, especially after what happened in the previous seasons. This finale was beautiful. 👏
Im so glad V tested eve and was right about her turning instead of walking away!! SUCH A SATISFYING FEELING!! They both know they want to be with each other and such a great end to open up season 4! Like there are so many amazing posibilities of where this could lead on.
I don't know, I don't like to think she was testing Eve. She was giving her the option to leave. Eve was asking her for help to make it all stop, so V thought removing herself from the equation would help her and make it stop. She didn't want to, obviously but this selfless act shows her growth and genuine love for Eve now.
Also... this is the first finale where the episode ends with both of them in the same place. No one's walking/running away. Guess that's the beginning of Villaneve!

Tawny yy I actually agree. I think I meant test in a loose term. Villanelle wanted to know if Eve would leave. She was giving her the option to leave and have a normal life. However she still wanted to see if Eve would turn around. If she genuinely wanted Eve to start over she wouldn’t look back. If she didn’t want Eve to have the choice of leaving her, I don’t think she’d propose the idea of walking away. I hope I explained myself well enough 😂

The fact that Villanelle loves Eve so much to the point that she was willing to let her go, and then for Eve to love Villanelle so much that she admitted she couldn’t imagine the future without her and turned around to prove it.
This show is unreal and has such a unique story that has evolved into something so beautiful. It’s no longer a story of cat and mouse. It’s a story about love.
Every single breath I take is devoted to Villanelle and Eve. Most amazing duo in TV history.

i'm still not over them at all, this finale was beautiful, better than the kiss i was expecting! they needed to talk and Villa showed how much she changed, her concept of love too. Love isnt having someone, but also let the person go, Villa learned.
Also, for the first time someone choose Villa for what she is, not asking anything i return! Eve, even knowing that Villa killed a lot of people just says "i know", she doesnt judge V anymore, she loves V for what she is and that's all....
VILLAEVE IS SO BEAUTIFUL, A LOVE SOTRY, STARTED QUITE TOXIC, but it proves that when you love someone, you can change, not for the person, but for yourself first!
I couldn't have said it better myself... VILLANEVE IS ENDGAME and that's a fact! I love how they are the only ones being able to understand each other and see one another in ways that nobody else can!

I read an article after watching the final ep and one hint given from the writer for season 4 is that "change is possible". Im guessing V is gonna change to become better and omg i hope v and eve can work together and get more screen-time together since this season was more of character development which i loved as well!
All this season was dedicated to character development in order for both of them to make this major change... so they could hopefully be together in season 4!!! Can't wait for that to happen!

The best ending, it made me sad, still sad, but this heart of mine is relieved knowing that Eve loves Villanelle, and deep down she wants to be with her. I can’t get over the last scene, it’s like they hold my heart in their hands and squish it, it hurt so bad but feel so good at the same time. 😩😫

The best part was when V askes Eve "Do you want to be like that?" ( I thought it's about the dancing movement ) and Eve said, "We'd never make it that long, We'd consume each other before we got old." Eve just cannot control herself thinking about the time when they are getting old together looooool. How cute !!!!

This is so romantic, even without a kiss. love is just a simple motion. Sandra Oh and Jodie come are just forces of the nature, showing their passions throught acting, they're amazing together. Is really a deep connection between two complex woman and its so amazing to see that representation in tv. I was so bored when i found out that season 4 is only 2022, but i"ll be here watching this edit until 2022, ur so good. U captured the best of their relationship!!!!

I thought this season ending episode was so wonderful, and so easy to draw parallels between season one, and season two endings, where they were fighting with each other, and yet still in love with each other. This one showed them dancing together, first fighting for control, then laughing, then just swaying together and villanelle doesn’t even dance. Omg. Villanelle saying to Konstantinos “you’re not family”. Implying that Eve is now her family.
Then they have this amazing conversation on the bridge oh my God! I felt like they really really know each other now, and the best kind of love is the love that you can let go and still love the person and trust in the process. Hopefully season four will bring us a lot more villain eve scenes together!
I couldn't have said it better myself. Yes, it's so beautiful and amazing that they have such great chemistry and know each other so damn well. They truly are soulmates and no one will change my mind about that! They are each other's family and they are the only ones who see and understand one another the way nobody else does! Season 4 better have plenty of Villaneve content to make up for the lack of those scenes this season!
Not only was it perfect with the end of S3, but now that we saw 4×08...I can't even express it I can't even write properly due the chaos that's running through my mind and heart

What i really like is the way their bond is portrayed. Like there’s not that much physical contact btween them and honestly i am not even looking forward to seeing any. But in their words and actions you can see the level their relationship is on. Eve - she went through so many things because of villanelle, and after all she still didn’t walk away and turned around at the end - And villanelle - she was just testing eve. She would have turned anyways hahah. so thankful they didn’t cut the scene and left us not knowing what happened. Great edit xxx

You're so right... they don't have that much physical contact and they don't even meet that often but even then... they know each other so well and have so much love for one another. I don't think Villanelle was testing Eve. When she was walking away, she truly did set Eve free and we could see the pain in her face while she did try to walk away until she stopped. I see this edit again and I say to myself... "why did they waste this potential, why did they end the show this way? With characters who are no longer really themselves?"
Even season 3, which leaves so few places for interactions between them, which gives so little voice to Eve, makes more sense and follows the story more than the final season.
I miss this Eve and Villanelle, represented in this video.
This Eve lost but in demand, this Villanelle lost but with so much panache.
I come to think that this last scene of season 3 should have been the ultimate end rather than the mess that followed. Yet, I wanted so much more at that time.
So sad.
