- On the Road - Ep. 7 / Birding November 2023 Pt 1. Trying something new with these next videos. I had to cancel a couple fall trips due to work, but was determined to create something during the fall and winter months. That’s were birdwatching/spotting comes into play. This is first of a couple birding videos from the Puget Sound.
In the beginning of November, I went out to the University of Washington’s Union Bay Natural Area. This is a fantastic park especially since it is within the City and accessible via public transit (with a short walk). I am still relatively new with birdwatching/birding so let me know if I misidentified any birds.
Birds spotted/photographed: Belted Kingfisher, American Coots, Trumpeter Swans, Bald Eagles, Anna’s Hummingbird, Northern Shovelers, Gadwalls, Double-Crested Cormorants, Hooded mergansers, Mallards, Great Blue Heron
