My new year's resolution is to try to lower my social anxiety. I'm currently in Australia alone and I just got there for four months, I don't know anybody and I have to make new friends. I am terrified

I hope 2017 gets a lot better than 2016... 2016 was a year full of sadness, loneliness and anxiety, and not a lot of happiness... I focused on a lot of the negative things in my life and pushed all the positivity a away from me... I was afraid to be happy, because whenever I got too happy, something bad always happened.. In 2017 I want to deal better with my anxiety, focus on the positive and do things I was scared to do in 2016!! Let's do this together!!!❤️

my mum makes the nicest, smoothest, silkiest mashed potato. the way she makes it is so after the potatoes are cooked she mashes them with butter and milk and mashes it until its smooth then she takes an electric hand mixer and adds some more milk to the mashed potatoes and mixes it and adds a bit more milk bit by bit. that way theres no bits of potatoes in there and its super smooth and just melts in your mouth.
Try putting nutmeg in there, it's so good
