The Retreat's conservation agreement connects the Liverpool Plains and Namoi River's biodiversity

The beautiful landscapes and waters of The Retreat play an important role in the biodiversity of the Liverpool Plains and Namoi River. The Retreat, on the lands of the Gamilaraay people, has a conservation agreement on it that protects important native vegetation and waterways. Through the NSW Biodiversity Conservation Trust, landholder and nature-inspired artist Margaret England brings Landcare NSW members, other conservation agreement-holders and interested property owners together to see the results of the conservation management actions she has taken on her property.
