If you go, just don't go on a holiday weekend. Unless you want alot of action to watch. During the week or off weekend, you can have it all to yourself. Much nicer imo! 👍
Great video, the washes are might favorites, I too love hearing the trains, all day and night long. Wash 22 is also closest to the really big dunes like China Wall.
where we camp in the washes we get right next to te sand. then there is very little dust. I am not saying where in the washes that is...most people think they will get stuck. So they dont go in there.
This is a great video. Glamis should have a required video for beginners on dos and don’ts 😅. Some people don’t know better but mean no harm. There are some bad apples just like anywhere though.
I prefer the washes, and the further the better. We avoid Vendors and crowded areas anyway. Dust is a drawback for sure. Trains don't bother me. We have had people drop anchor too near our camp, too.
Wow your videos are awesome and they bring me great memories and sad ones too, we camped on ten several times however we had a crazy friend (like everyone has one) hit one of those eight circles on an old-style buggy and the car flipped over and he his paralyzed for life. I cannot believe how big that area got. please be safe way too many idiots out there. Unfortunally.
I mostly camp in the flats and during camp RZR I like to be right up front on the road in front of camp RZR. It's allot of fun watching all the people and machines and it also makes it easy to walk over. I've camped in the washes and don't like it as much but will do it depending on the group. It really depends on the group. I've never camped on gecko till this summer and rode at night and morning to avoid the heat.
Cool tell him thx. Glad you like them. I'm just learning this TH-cam thing. Christine and I are having so much fun with it. Welcome to the Sandblast Xtreme RV family.
I’m in wheelchair and just started coming out to Glamis and relized camping in areas with soft sand is difficult for me.Been looking for more compact areas I like what I seen on the video in road runner canyon or road looked accessible but looks difficult to get in n out
I have a friend in a wheelchair that's where he camps Gecko Road. He has a awesome small car with hand controls. Pretty cool. This video shows another place you can camp on asphalt. Hope it helps! th-cam.com/video/gzxIpIsduCE/w-d-xo.html
I'd disagree. We stayed on wash 6 this past weekend. We only had one Mexican in our group. Only country music played. We're trying to change the culture
GLAMIS is soo unorganized. People camp anyway they want and have no respect for others... I can't believe Your buddy didn't here anyone pulling up next to his trailer... That crap would've never fly in my group.. that is sooo disrespectful.
Yes crazy! He had to have heard them probably just felt bad saying anything. I never asked him I just grabbed my camera and filmed it. That's why we started making those stickers. Haha! Hey Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.
Most everyone is out there to have a good time, and generally happy. Of course alcohol can lead to a few disagreements, but its pretty rare to see fights. It like-minded people all having fun. You have to let the bullshit slide.
Another very informative video. I prefer the off times since busy weekends equal more life flight helicopters.
I’m a Southern California guy, but I’ve never been to Glamis because of the crowds. Thanks for the video that really describes camping in the washes.

That's why we did it for ya'll. Bummed we can't be out there this weekend. Happy Thanksgiving!

Thx man, we are just having fun with it.

Haha! Yep that's true.

So sorry to hear that, those things are so dangerous. My wife is always pointing at them.

Very nice. Glamis Flats video is coming out tomorrow. We love camping in the flats by the vender area so easy and local.
Jonathan from Off Road Diaries sand to come over and check out your channel. Love the videos.

That’s why I prefer Buttercup or Gordon Wells. It’s not so hectic like Glamis. Same dunes just the other side of them.
True! Beautiful place a little more mellow.
Wash 6 is browntown Little Tijuana I won't camp there anymore they play their bumpy bumpy music all night and leave lots of trash behind
I'd disagree. We stayed on wash 6 this past weekend. We only had one Mexican in our group. Only country music played. We're trying to change the culture
Thanks for the video information. Question, what would be the best area to camp and ride if you only had quads?
Hmmm.... washes are nice with some medium dunes right by camp.
Dude …….. your in great shape.
Thank you, except I'm old...haha!
@ exactly… for an old guy? Your doing it brother..
@rictech. Thank you! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.
@ yes sir !!!! Same to you from nor cal …
I miss the breakfast pizza back in 80s 90s
From Mama Jeanie's? That's funny cause we talk about that in the Glamis Flats video. Which is coming out today at 5pm.
I camp on gecko rd. But I hear all the legends are in wash 6
Haha!
Gecko sucks ass... Roadrunner and keyhole also sucks..
That’s my trailer start of wash 10 OFG in the house
Right on I'll go back and look.
@ my son is there with my in laws. I had to come back to work and headed out tomorrow night. Loved the video keep up

Yes
Don't say taco! lol
Ok.......Turkey and gravy! Happy Thanksgiving
Is there cell phone coverage out there?
Spotty I have Verizon
@sandblastxtremerv also do they water trucks that sell water (100gal) and sewage trucks to empty a gray/black water tank?
@sandblastxtremerv thanks for replying, your videos are awesome
@troyrichards2914 Yes they do.
Thx just learning this TH-cam thing.
