If you ever see this, know I'm a newcomer to Nashville in 2023, and I've loved the show and have watched it through twice. I also go to the faithful youtubers who have put your music together. A huge favorite is Daphne's second solo on Brad's music show. The song and her singing it is so wonderful - twice every day. Daphne and Maddie are great together and apart, but especially together. I love Deacon's character and have enjoyed watching him mellow and grow wise as he parented his girls. The three end up so truly close. It was gratifying that he seemed to find a special woman "to maybe write with" and that the girls made him blush about the exchange. Daphne - "What? She's so you!" It cracked me up besides being so sweet. Gunner and Scarlet's duets are out of this world amazing. Their voices blended beautifully. Such great, close harmonies throughout the show. Avery matured well. I love his voice so much, too. His relationship with Juliette was so special. Juliette is a force! What a rock star actor and singer. He is an actor I've loved for so long. The great musicians in the background were outstanding. Hallie really does have a set of pipes! What an instrument. I'm so sorry it didn't go on for more seasons. It just seems right that Nashville should have ongoing representation on TV. Great cast, great writing, and such great music. Thank you. There should be a "Making of the Series Nashville" movie. Oh, I loved Rayna and Deacon's relationship, but I was sad it was for such a short time once they were married. Her death was hard. Maddie was absolutely wonderful as she sang her mother's song at the awards show, and Deacon and Daphne did just what a good father and sister would do. So touching. Thank you again for being such a driving force behind this show. You were the glue that kept it so real.
Aw. I loved this so much! I too always love Deacon and Scarlett together. It doesn't get any better than their relationship! I'll never forget my favorite Scarlett line. When Deacon had Cancer and he was having a "poor, poor, me day" I'm gonna die, and Scarlett says, "YOU AIN'T GONNA DIE! I really enjoyed the battles. It was all done with love. Very good writing and acting. I am definitely going back to binge watch from S1E1 after it comes to an end. It will never be over for me. I will continue to follow the actors music and future work. I'm so glad Chip mentioned Jonathan Jackson, I have listened to his band for a long while. I suspected Jonathan was an amazing person and Chip just confirmed that.
I think the central attractions to shows like Nashville and Outlander is they have strong and equal female and male lead's that display and stand for decency. IMHO
