In the village you can make horror movies about ghosts, especially now. There are almost no people. How much land comes with it?
I remember when my beautiful wife Nataliia first drove here in Pennsylvania. I would take her to a old school parking lot in our village and just let her practice.
It was so much fun watching her enjoy the freedom of driving.
We purchased a Lincoln MKX for her personal car and she cares for this as her child, she keeps her super clean and looks as if the day we bought it.
Some people know how to appreciate things.

How did he teach her? Not once did he realy explain about using the clutch. She seemed to just start using the clutch and driving. I think she already knew.
When we got married in 1968 I tried to teach my new wife to drive a stick shift to no avail. We gave up and purchased a used car w/an automatic tranny and still laugh about our “adventure” those many years ago.
Such a very nice young couple! You two are great together. And these videos are a lot of fun. Liuba did GREAT! Nice job on the driving, and the patience and teaching. And that area looks very nice. I love those hills and the land. Wonderful. Looking forward to seeing what you two decide to do - and where to settle.

I would happily swap London for one of those villages where there’s almost zero crime and people are content with nature, fresh food and the four seasons.

You can do it too.
It's easy.
If you practice on manual gearbox in driving school, you can learn in few hours. If you like to drive. If you like to be a passenger, you'll never do it properly.
I remember when i was in highschool, after a 2 weeks vacation, a friend came back driving a car.
I was like, dude !
And he drove it like he was a pro.
It's fun to drive manual for a while, but for a daily, an automatic is a must.

Luba did a great job! When I tired teaching my friends with a stick shift I had they popped the clutch and killed the engine. Two of them finally caught on, but one never did and gave up. All guys.

I like the previous house. Surprised you haven't already grabbed that one. The buildings appeared to be more substantial and better for renovation. My dream house in the Ukraine wouldn't matter about the roof or the Land or the amenities. It would just need Natalia Matsak waiting for me every night when I got home from work and as a special treat at weekends, to wear her Swan Lake Tutu's. Remember, its just a dream but Pavlo will understand its secret message.
Luba will soon learn that driving is not so much fun.
That entire area is beautiful, it reminded me of the farming areas in Pennsylvania. And Luba did excellent with driving manual shift.

I love your videos. You and Liuba are so easy going, fun, down-to-earth. You are so much like the people I know in the Pacific Northwest of America where I grew up and where I live. You are not pretentious -- just very real and very casual! I love getting a look at life in Ukraine. I especially enjoy the details -- what the food is like, the signs, the buses, the store names, birthday parties, how heating works, and on and on. Those are things you don't usually get to see by just being a tourist. Thank you for making these videos.

Very impressive!!! I stalled the car so many times trying to learn at age 16 that I have up and didn't learn to drive a manual until I was 23. I bought a manual sports car and picked it up from the dealer to force myself to finally learn. Fortunately, I made it home alive. She is a natural and you are a good patient teacher.

Luba you have a nice touch when you let out the clutch and press the accelerator pedal nice and smooth. Starting from a hill is very tricky with a standard drive car it just takes a lot of practice. That countryside is beautiful when it is all green, the land is worth more than that house is for sure. I do like where that property is away from everybody and so quiet too. Pavlo, Luba is off to a good start driving a manual transmission. Lots of practice helps so she is comfortable with the clutch, brake and accelerator pedals. Luba’s next challenge is to get the car moving in 1st gear from a stop going up a hill. If she can do that, everything else is practise, practise. Веселих Свят і Щасливого Нового Року!
Greetings from Saskatchewan Canada. Ukraine looks very similar to where I live. With all the fields, farms, trees. To me its beautiful scenery. In my city there's a Ukrainian food store, I really enjoy the drink "Kvass". Cheers.

Liuba is driving well. The corn fields look like central Illinois where I live, flat land and corn and soy beans for miles and miles.

It looks very much like the area that I live in the US. Lots of open country and lots of farm fields and dirt roads. That I where I learned to drive when I was about 12 years old. By the time I was old enough to take my driver’s test at 16, I had no problem passing. The more I watch your channel, the more I think I want to retire in Ukraine.

Random first impressions from watching this channel:
1) No self-indulgence.
2) No attitude problems. (How refreshing is that?)
3) Not hung up on whining and complaining about minutia.
4) These two remind me of my parents/grandparents (and that's a very good thing - i.e., their value system appears to be rock solid).
5) But they don't remind me so much of myself (I whine and complain too much).
6) They're happy and well-adjusted and not angry because they're not rich.
7) They live in the real, practical world - not some weird fantasy existence.
8) They drive cars with the driver's seat on the left - I think they got that right in Ukraine.
9) They drive a car with a manual shift. I drove one of those things (VW) for several years, and I hated every minute of it. Well, almost every minute - it was fun driving it around in the snow and ice, because it maintained great control under those conditions, due to its light weight and low torque.
10) I'm wondering if he realizes how lucky he is. (Same thing could probably be said about her.)
11) I'm wondering if he realizes just how good his command of English is. (But should probably correct his pronunciation of "burgers.")
12) They shop at the thrift store. Good call on that. I've gotten several compliments over clothes I've bought at the thrift store, _before_ I tell people it came from the thrift store.
13) I'm wondering if this channel is monetized, and what it would mean for their locale. (Some of their videos have gotten lots of views.)
14) McDonald's seems to be a lot more generous with the size their burgers there than they are in the U.S. What's up with that?
15) And lastly...when did it go from being "The Ukraine" to just "Ukraine"?

Great Video. I never had the patience when teaching my wife the first time on an Automatic. Pavlo, You are such a Gentleman, a great Husband, and I sure can learn from you a lot to know how to be calm and composed in any situation.
