You do realize that most talk shows you watch are already well oiled machines because they’ve been running for 5 days a week for almost the whole year with only a few dark weeks throughout and doing like 200+ shows a season, right? This is a show full of people that have never worked together, a host that has never done this before and is used to being on the OTHER end of interviews, and it’s all being done during a pandemic without a studio audience to feed off of or guests to actually talk to in person, without the actual prior experience of having done it like that before to draw off of. This is also literally the third day. Every single talk show has problems in the beginning. All of them. They constantly rework segments, music, graphics, sets, etc. within weeks of premiering most of the time. You’re never going to get that well oiled machine the first week in any talk show whether it’s daytime or late night. I’m sorry. You’re comment just rubbed me the wrong way as if people aren’t working and you’re commanding them to get it together.
It just feels like twasnt properly planned. They knew that people will definitely want to check out the show because they love Drew from her movies. So they had to make a really good first impression.Their first week had to be well planned and done over and over until twas perfect. I've seen brand new shows before. They should have tried harder. And I'm not saying this to be a troll. I'm saying this cz I'm the biggest Drew fan and I want her to have a successful show.

I think part of the problem with the pacing in a lot of shows in this era is that with these Zoom interviews, there isn’t a natural flow of conversation, it’s very “I talk, now you talk” back and forth because of the delays and it can make it seem kind of slow. Also, don’t worry about this show yet. It’s had a regular season order, Kris Jenner’s show just had a test order and was never picked up so when the few weeks they tested were done, they weren’t impressed and passed on ordering it to series. The same thing happened with Jerry O’ Connell’s recent show.

I would die if it failed the way Kris Jenner show did. They need a better script, faster pace and better direction
