- Before November 2019 when Burna Boy was nominated for his first Grammy Award, the African Giant and Davido were friends. Unlike Davido and Wizkid who disliked each other’s presences for a long time, Davido and Burna Boy had a good relationship. They were seen at each other’s gigs and celebrated their successes on social media. Sadly, their friendship took a different course after Burna Boy lost his Grammy award nomination category to Beninese singer, Angelique Kidjo in January 2020.
Fans of Wizkid and Davido took to social media to rant about how Davido and Wizkid paved the way for Burna Boy in the industry. But a fan took it to the next level when he asked Burna Boy in a Tweet where he was between the year 2010 and 2018 when Afrobeat was struggling to hit the mainstream. Burna boy would then reply, “No one paved the way for him in the industry except the late Fela Anikulapo-Kuti. Burna Boy did not stop here. He went further to subtly accuse his colleagues of not caring about him when he newly entered into the industry while portraying them as selfish people. Interestingly, neither Wizkid nor Davido responded to Burna Boys’ accusation, which we believe must have made him vindictive.

Firstly your post is biased... You are actually a Davido supporter. Saying everything from his own point of view, and playing only his songs. Secondly, your facts are not completely true.
Yeah is was just smiling seeing how he was manipulating the story in Davido'd favor 😂 He said "fem" was a response to "way too big" but fem was the first to be released, he did everything possible to paint Burna as the bad guy 😂😂
The fight was really disgrace to both of them upon all the money they claim they have.
It's really sad, especially as so many people look up to them.
