Being from England, we didn't get a chance to see a lot of Scottish football but it is great to see now (thanks to TH-cam) all these players we use to stick in the back pages of our Panini albums. Davie Cooper is brilliant!
I was at that game with my auld man and when the ball went out to Cooper on the right, My auld man says "Aw naw, it's oan his wrang fit." BOOM - 2-0! Great night. :)
Cooper was unplayable that night. Then we went and got pumped by Koln in next round. The UEFA Cup final in these days I 'm sure was played over 2 legs.
I'm a Celtic fan but I subscribed as I love watching all your old uploads and admittedly even the Celtic defeats! Great game and brilliant atmosphere from the days when Scottish clubs could take on any European club and turn them over on home turf. Gotta love that old GPO telephone and Arthur's colourful jacket... happy days.
I was at this game GOVAN stand with my dad. Davie COOPER was the greatest Scottish wingman of his gen, it’s only a pity he didn’t win more honours at this time.

My first ever European game , my Dad took me , we were in the main stand , it was packed to the rafters , no seats left , we had to sit on the staircase , Amazing atmosphere , Cooper and Prytz were Brilliant that night
