I think when people get randomly get turned comes down to a lack of will. As Ash has so much willpower to simply not be possessed. When he was possessed he basically just willed himself back with the slightest glimmer of hope
@InitialPC Not at all, but it does make a difference. If he's got great willpower because he is the prophesied, then it would be unlikely that other people would be able to fight the possession. But if he has great willpower and happens to be the prophesied, that means regular humans could show the same amount of willpower

@@dustinjenney9736 Tbh, i would say that three season might work for the show. The ending is Army of Darkness like, and we can spin our own fantasies around it. Like other shows who jump the shark with too many seasons (like Supernatural for an example) Sometimes finishing on a high note with an open-esque ending is better then writing it into the ground with season after season and ideas bleeding out. I am glad for what we have. And even when the show is finished, the whole universe around it is still moving. Be it comics, games and maybe even a coming movie, the Evil dead franchise will live on.

Some important questions that were not covered in the video: 1. Can the Necronomicon itself be destroyed, even if only via the Dagger? I understand that pages can be torn out of it, at least 2. Along the same lines, could that rogue Dark One, who's name currently escapes me, be killed via the Dagger? 3. Depending on the answers to the previous two questions, provided nothing had been summoned, could destroying both make it so that the world was permanently safe (provided there isn't some _other_ way/resource still hidden)?

i think bruce cambel said he's too old to play ash anymore. the only way i can see them continuing that plot in the future is with either an animated show/movie or a game

Some important questions that were not covered in the video:
1. Can the Necronomicon itself be destroyed, even if only via the Dagger? I understand that pages can be torn out of it, at least
2. Along the same lines, could that rogue Dark One, who's name currently escapes me, be killed via the Dagger?
3. Depending on the answers to the previous two questions, provided nothing had been summoned, could destroying both make it so that the world was permanently safe (provided there isn't some _other_ way/resource still hidden)?

@@crpineo it can but the pages can still be read so it's pointless to disassemble the book and once the broken pages are put near the book the book repairs itself
