Straight Wind Storm Blows Down Acres: Dangerous Work

This video is of a local blow down job we did. Straight winds had come through and cut trees in half. It was not a tornado. These types of jobs can be very dangerous but with the equipment that we have it is done much safer.

I have done this type of job myself in Northern Michigan and it is the most dangerous way to make a living in the forestry industry. The right tools for the job is a necessity. It gets hairy in a hurry. God bless you and be safe.

Just curious do u charge by the hr for such jobs or just do it like a normal log job?

Depends on the timber but most of the time like a logging job
