- My lastest dart video is a test on the dragon scale glove as well as addressing some comments, questions and concerns. Shooting darts from a slingshot is risky and should only be done by a trained and competent person. Shoot these at your own risk

I actually thought your first 3 shots were just deflecting off the scales, tight group dude, very tight group. Nice demonstration.
The clips of the damage makes me sick to my stomach, makes me understand just how dangerous these can be. Its insane how damaging they can be for the shooter if you don't take the correct precautions.
I prefer the older style darts cause the fletchings are way more durable. the bigger thumb grip is nice but the hard plastic will crack the first time you miss. that being said, I put feather fletchings on there using epoxy and they work amazingly. also discovered the fishing dart tips will thread right on there. just my 2 cents ✌️

I ordered the glove a few days ago after watching your other videos. And now I know it was a wise decision.
(I had a black widow back in the day.) I have a few different types of bows aswell. Slingshots and bows- completely different skill sets. And if the zombies ever do attack, I'll be grabbing my slingshots first.

Have you tried the kevlar gloves at Snipersling? I wonder if they would stop the dart? Could not get a response from them. Just curious. Nice informative video.

Those wire frames are really good for dart shooting. Big shooting gap and hammer grip makes it much safer. I installed my flat bands using smart clamps. I did turn the handle other way around, so the prongs are now facing towards the target. This is safer way to use those clamps. That glove is well worth the price. I was little bit skeptical about its stopping capabilities, because those scales looked very thin, but this video proves me wrong.
Yup, the Daisy F16 (Also called the Jack Pyke "Storm" in certain Euro countries) is a perfect frame to modify for dart and arrow shooting. 👍

I've got absolutely nothing against anyone, but I'd rather be segregated from society than fall in line like the rest of those who don't value their freedoms.
The glove is spot on, far better to have it than not.
Them darts are savage little things but I think I'd still rather have ball bearings purely due to ease of carrying and amount I could carry in a comfortable manner.

Have you thought about setting up a bit of a moving target system? maybe the targets could be on swing arms that pivot around in front of a full backstop to catch misses?
This is way faster than it would be if you shot your hand this is beyond worse case
good trial of the glove but you was shooting at a distance. wouldn't the dart have lost a bit of momentum vs being less than a half meter away?
Good job wish I had a glove 20 years ago I put a homemade dart into my hand that I made out of a large shark hook I had Straightened out it hit me in the web of my hand I could not pull it out I had to push it all the way through and cut the barb off and then pull it out good video
I did that with a treble hook once, got stuck in my ear.
Chris I love the slingshot aswell dude but some-people don’t realise how powerful and diverse the slingshot/flat bands are. And just want to argue and talk shit about it ,,
When I shoot the darts I use my own made with longer forks because i have seen a friend with a dart in his hand but I'm more accurate with the smaller sling shot it's just easier and I wouldn't risk it

how accurate and powerful ---are these slingshot arrows---? --can I kill a pheasant or pigeon size bird ---@ 30 yds ----or will it only wound the poor thing??

I still think that a long stick shooter is far safer for pana darts. I would never risk shooting one from ordinary catty forks. Anyone who's shot catapults for any length of time will have had hand slap and know how much it hurts. Having a dart hit you in the hand doesn't bear thinking about. Not for me thanks.
I am 80 years old and I have tried a lot of things from western fast draw and too many things too mention. I am starting shooting slingshots and have invested a bit of money. I am watching your videos and I am learning a lot. I am now getting into shooting darts. I don’t know enough about this to know what kind of glove to use for protection and I would really appreciate your professional knowledge for advise. The wrist rocket with flat bands and darts is imo the smallest lethal stealth hunting/combat weapon. The Chinese gangsters freakin fought with these things, scary. My favorite tool is my pistol crossbow tho.
fun fact: scale armor was the first ever used metal armor (since bronze age) :). and even into medieval times used.
Hey Chris, definitely worth the money opposed to having what you showed a dot through your hand. I don’t know how much more you can present it to make it show that it is worth beautiful example.
the fact it dont penetrated and it the same time has even more force in impact.... (yep) the dart that would hit your hand way after release has less force. it gains force after passing the hand
This shows how good that glove is. The shot that hit it was definitely more perpendicular than if you were wearing the glove to shoot darts, so the glove would easily deflect a shot at a shallower angle. Nice grouping though!

At the end of the day these are stupid and will more than likely get banned one day especially here in the UK but remember boys and girls it's just a little stupid fun and if it's not for you so be it, god knows I don't play with these because I'll become that guy with a dart in the hand but they they're still cool

Those first three shots i dont think where high. I think those where blows to it that glanced off of it.
Think experience is the key…being a novice at slingshot…lol,I wouldn’t attempt them,but accidents..can..and do happen..but they are cool for hunting 👍

But you gave it time to slow down, it's going to be going max speed right off release. You should have did it point blank. I don't doubt it will stop the dart by any means, I think it might do a little more damage, right off the forks.
Iv just watched your vid & don't know if any1 has suggested fabracating in a D loop so you can use a release aid such as they use with compound bows. I think having a release aid would give more stability & accuracy. Frickin awesome vid. Really like the glove. I do a bit of archery (compound) but since seeing butterfly slingshot shooting, i want to get myself a good slingshot.

One thing I've noticed between you and some other slingshot shooters,, it appears to me that you are "anchoring" your hand at your cheek area,, much like an archer would. I also noticed you're using the black bands. From what I understand, the black bands are the strongest of the different colored bands. Do you know the formula for determining the lbs pull you have, at your draw length, for the length of band you are using? And am I correct in assuming you can increase the lbs pull by using shorter bands?
and in theory you can change the scales and have it like new

The glove would deflect the dart depending on the angle, whereas the dart would pierce the skin for sure. Great vid.

How do i get slingshot darts and glove
I can't find it now, but i saw a beefier version with i think 15 gauge steel scales, the larger "dragon scale" type and it had heavier veg tanned leather underneath, looked good for both these and for regular archery.
