But in a way this is kinda good cos many maths teachers, for example the one I had at school, are in a tearing hurry and if you do not pick stuff up quickly you are left wallowing in ignorance. Another easy way is this 2/3(4-x)=3/4(x-2) Multiply both fractions by the common variable of the denominator. 3,4=12 Multiply the numerators by twelve and divide by the denominator. 24/3=8 and 36/4=9 8(4-x)=9(x-2) Also, 2/3(4-x=3/4(x-2)+8 Multiply all numbers by the common variable of the denominators/number. 24/3=8 and 36/4=9 and 8 times 12 is 96 8(4-x)=9(x-2)+96 Hope this helps
Can anyone tell me why at the end of this problem, when the 2x gets divided by two, why the 3/2 just stays 3/2 and doesn’t get divided and end up X=1.5? Or why at 5 minutes and 7 seconds the 3/2 stays 3/2 and doesn’t get divided and end up X=1.5? If algebra is about keeping things balanced by doing the same to both sides, like adding 2 to both sides, or adding 10 to both sides, why do we say we’re going to divide both sides by 2 or we’re going to divide both sides by 6, but then we only divide the first part and leave the second part alone? Any help on this would be appreciated.

We need to use the inverse operation to get rid of it. Divide by 2 on both sides (Division Property of Equality). The 2x/2 reduces to just "x." 3/2 = 1.5 or 1 + 1/2.
We DIDN'T only divide the first part. The 3 IS being divided by 2; that is what 3/2 represents, "3 divided by 2". Now, if you are asking why don't we take it one step further and convert 3/2 to a decimal, in Algebra we generally express our answers in fractional form, not decimal form.

I have been looking at on-line math tutorials and came across TabletClass Math. Your tutorials are easy to follow, but you seem to spend an awful lot of time at the beginning of all of your videos just talking about everything except solving the problem. In the above video you talked for over 3 minutes before even going to the problem.
Not teaching a vital part of the equation (LCD) then don't even bother making the video. Huge waste of my time. And you won't stop rambling about nonsense that doesn't help teach anything. Also, it would be very helpful if you explained WHY the numbers go wherever they're going. Hope that helps you improve.

Got the LCD on the left side and then used the bow tie to solve. Same result!
It gave me 6x-10/15 = 1/1 and then 6x-10 = 15.
Another easy way is this
