my name is larry aka Scorpio Coleman,i have been into this group since i was 12 years old and now im 50 years younger and i still love my boys until the end of my time here on earth, may ja bless them all and may he forever keep them strong in peace and love with all as one people,,,i pray to see them come to Dallas Texas soon i hope because we do love you guys once again be bless.
The first time I saw these Brothers they open a show for Bob Marley and the Wailers inna Rotterdam Ahoi Netherlands '77,'78. With the KKK Hoddies back in the day's. Great show will never forget that one yah.
I'll never forget seeing these guys on Randall's Island '13. It was the morning after a downpour and ppl were barefoot dancing in the mud! SP was skanking away on stage!
Yes I.
I saw them in New Orleans in the 80’s they had that hall rockin so hard the cops was in there bouncing around perhaps the musical vibes plus that big cloud of ganja was the reason yes sah 💨💨
hahahahah u have lost your mind. David Hinds was an excellent song writer between ( 1982-1990). He also has a nice voice. BUT, the band is quite poor live. Mainly because 1. Hinds insists on singing thru his nose in this annoying voice. 2. They choose cheap synthesizer sounds over more organic ones. Overall their live performances are C averages while their albums True Democracy and Earth Crisis are A grade. Babylon the bandit is a B because of once again a very poor choice of sounds in the production ie cheap synthesizers. During the first three albums, Handsworth Revolution (1978) Tribute to the Martyrs (1979) Caught You (1980), they were honing their skills. Now lets talk about Bob Marley and the wailers. That band is 50000 times better than Still pulse. 1. Marley's voice and showmanship was the stuff of legend on stage. Like Michael Jackson, he actually sang the song better onstage than he did on the album. He was in a trans for the most part and clearly took the audience on a mesmerizing spiritual ride. 2. Bob had several voices. He had angry, he had calm, he had love. Three different voices. He could wail and roar like a lion in one song and sound like a baby in the next. While his poetry was not as sophisticated as some of David Hind's poetry on Earth crisis ( only earth crisis), it was far more clever, witty, profound, and conveyed his message far more effectively. He had that je ne sais quoi. He also was intriguing to look at and kept your attention for a long time with his stage antics. The hand gestures. Marley was a crusader on a serious mission. Unlike Hinds, he a sang about things he saw around him and experienced. Ambush, Rebel music, and so on Your statement that Steel Pulse is better is abominable and heretic..Hind's genius was displayed on True Democracy (1982) Earth Crisis (1984) Babylon the Bandit (1986) Grammy Award Winner - Best Reggae Album State of Emergency (1988) Victims (1991) with the last three on the list representing horrible attempts at commercializing their sound, albeit good songwriting. Song writing wise Hinds is the next best thing after bob, but he lacks the ability to reproduce whats on the CD on stage. Please watch Bob Marley Live at Santa Barbara. Even burning spear, with his limited vocabulary is more compelling live, than still pulse is.
Shit was awsome when steel pulse came to Virginia Beach the last two years in a row. Ended up getting laid, missed them the first year, but went back the next year.
remember , The Loreley Summer Jam 12.7.1987 Jimmy Cliff, Third World, Steel Pulse, Aswad, Curtis Mayfield, Toure Kunda, Freddie McGregor, Johnny Clegg,

Will never understand the incompetence of uploaders who list setlists but no timestamps? This ain't 99 brothaman. Useless.
Think that as an opportunity for you. You can enjoy the whole concert and put the timestamps in the comments!
