This guy is the real deal and the Werdum fight was him returning to MMA after K1 so he was rusty but know he is back and do NOT sleep on his ground game just because he is PRIMARILY a striker.
I guess we'll know overeems true ability in december when he faces brock. He better bring a lot more then he had against fabricio verdum the ufc reject. He looked pretty pathetic in that fight. People may not like brock but i dont think verdum can last a round against brock. From what i saw from that fight i dont think overeem has a chance against brock. If he was any good he should have walked all over verdum. Hes just overhyped like fedor. Garbage

Also, it should be noted that Zuffa got their panties in a wad and sent a legal notice to EA that resulted in them removing character nicknames, announcer captions, heads, tattoos, and even freaking fighter stances! Notice at the beginning of the video how the announcer doesn't even say Cain's last name. Ridiculous how Zuffa can claim copyright to a name as common as Velasquez!

However, if Cain gets the fight to the ground, then Cain will relentlessly keep Overeem on the ground. OVereem's extra size will be a hinderance if he gets taken down. Plus I think if Cain keeps Overeem down, then Overeem's will be gassed out. All 260 plus pounder in the sports can't go at a relentless pace. The takedown is the key to this fight.
I'm The Reems biggest fan. I think on paper Alistair vs Cain would be Cheick Kongo vs Cain Velasquez on steroids... I mean that figuratively of course, horse meat to the grave! But Cheick used his Muay Thai skill to really damage Cain, but Cheick had no answer for Cain's wrestling, being taken down at will. I think it goes without saying that Alistair Overeem is 5 times the striker Cheick Kongo is, and 10 times the grappler. So I think Cain would definitely have some trouble, but I give Cain 20%

@BjergKamp2011 Overeem is the best striker in KICKBOXING and the HW division but THE BEST striker in MMA is ANDERSON SILVA and he proves it EVERY fight. No doubt OVEREEM is the best KICKBOXER in MMA but not the best STRIKER!!!

@jerald97100 The gameplay style is still, relativly new. So it's going to be clunky for the next few years. Take a look back at NBA Live games and most past generation Maddens.

The Reem sucks in this game. His chin and submission skills are better than what they have him at. I have my own Reem created and he is amazing.
lol what is shit game... they took the same robotic looking game engine as fight night round 4 (which sucked balls) and applied it to an mma game.
