Its often thought that if you tighten the bulkhead more, it will create a better connection, and that's just not the case. Most companies request hand tighten or slightly wrench the fitting on. Over tightening does not provide a better seal and can result in bulkhead failure. I'm surprised by the amount of varied replies online for "prevent leaking bulkhead". But, it seems really common.
You don't need to be a handyman to figure out simple plumbing. Misleading title...there was no flood. Also, all the electrical plugs and wiring and pvc under that frag tank is a mess. Maybe also keep all wires away from plumbing in case of leaks.
I Only use cheap ABS bulkheads near surface water-low pressure. Always use threaded heavy duty on or near tank bottoms. The glass can’t have any chips at the hole water seal. Always use the All Purpose Cement glueing ABS slip bulkheads to PVC fittings.
0:24 you can see that you're no good at any of those trades like hmm no plumbing knowledge? find a plumber and this won't happen no electrical knowledge? get an electrician or someone who works in music to come help out. that cabinet is a mess and looks like it going to go at some point. cables everywhere, a power board that appears to be maybe in inch away from a diy plumbing job. the stand doesn't look well built either. people do not need that knowledge as yours was clearly limited lol people need knowledge in theory field and trust in the knowledge of others. this video will be interesting. I'm guessing you're going to turn around and say don't do this idk I hope so
