Suki is one hell of a strong soul I have ever seen. She is mature,brave,powerful,athletic and a loving and protective mother. ❤
Raya is nothing but furry love. She has a heart of gold toward everyone. Raya simply doesn't know how to be mean or hateful to anyone. Suki will be back to normal with a little rest.
Raya is showing a lot of concern for suki, rubbing her body in circular motion. She is really a sensitive, caring doggy. Hoping to find suki in her normal form, recovering completely from sedation effect, in the coming vlog.
Raya has a beautiful soul inside her.... She loves her sister suki so much... She senses something wrong with suki... How sweet she is....

Awww, poor Suki. But yes, it takes time to get over sedation. Poor Raya will have to wait for her playmate. Raya has zero experience with sedation, so doesn't understand why Suki is currently low-key. But Raya will be pleased when the sedation effects are over, and Suki is back to her usual self. 🥰 to the gurls! And one 🥰 for our boi with impressive necc folds!

That is the effect of the anesthesia so she should be fine after a few hours it kind of varies from dog to dog. I work at a veterinary clinic so the leg plop she did in the first part of the video is what I usually see from a pet not long after a surgery is done the first few hours after which is interesting and the tiredness but she must be one of the ones it will take longer for the medication to wear off.

Is this common everywhere? To get general anesthesia for teeth cleaning? Seems so extreme!
For deep teeth cleaning, yes, it is normal - keeps the pet calm, and the vet isn't at risk. No one, not even pets, like their teefers touched during a dental procedure.

What is actually going on, is suki gonna be okay?
Wondering why the vet didn't bandage Suki's leg to prevent infection? What is that loud, crashing sound? She just needed darkness + quiet to rest. Suki is so beautiful, loved seeing an older video showing how Suki has a daughter that looks identical to her. And, they seemed to recognize each other 💕💌💘 Wonder if Shiro thought he was seeing doubles!!🤭
I'm assuming the sedative was done via IV. As with hoomans, the wound itself closes pretty quickly, so there really isn't much risk of infection. She just needs to rest her leg (i.e. no vigorous exercise) for awhile (day or less).
To add to Lynn's post, Oliver mentioned yesterday that Suki was also on 6 days of antibiotics to fight infection. ☺
Sedation gives of an odour . This we can even smell so imagine what they can smell . Poor Suki just rest .🐾🥰👍❤️
Imagine if us humans have to go under each time we need our teeth cleaned 😬.
I remember when my dog came home after having a minor surgery and she was still feeling a bit woozy from the anasthesia, so she sat there for a while, staring at the corner of the room, occasionally letting out these weird little barks (we reckon she was hallucinating) before doing the same as Suki: going SPLOOT on the ground and passing out for the next 6 hours.

What happened to suki?
It was rather sweet that Raya and Suki were nose to nose through the gate. Then it was funny that Raya finished her own food and went to see if there was anything left in Shiro's bowl. Raya was sniffing Suki to try and find out where she'd been and homed in on Suki's mouth. My brother's dog did this when he'd been in hospital and *very* slowly and *very* gently sniffed at his nose from where he had polyps removed. He knew exactly where to sniff and to be careful. Shiro funniest of all 'oh, You're back then. Where you been? You smell weird'!! Then walks off licking his chops!
I bet Suki was really thirsty when she was fully awake after sedation and teeth clean.
