What's your opinion on Rock Discipline? I think it's a underated video. In some of the exercises there are many the fundamentals of his lick making methodology....
Bro!!! You got a JPM??? In P2 livery?? Holy shit...that is one of my #1 bucket list instruments to own. Have you seen the bonkers JPM 90th HAM monster with the maple top? That would be me number one, but it's easier to cure cancer than to find one...even the normal models are getting damn near impossible to find. Can you believe that the man himself sold most of his Ibanez collection when he signed with EBMM? Legendary guitars that wrote Images and Awake!!! Like how amazing would it be to have the actual guitar that was used to record Metropolis???? Sick fucking axe broheim
@@justin.hombach That's even worse that you gotta give it back. What a looker. I noticed the pickups might not be original, which made me think that it might not be yours, most JP fans absolutely love his various DiMarzio offerings. I don't like his tone, I love it. I even have a cat named Boogie
@@rickfeith6372 I’ve got the luxury version of it called RG4020QMBS. All mahogani, beautiful quilted maple top and typical petrucci JPM placement of knobs. Only 28 of this has been build. Pickups are John’s earlier combination, he used to play in studio and live. “Steve’s Special” and “Humbucker from hell”. This beauty is a waste in my hands because of my weak playing ability. But that’s why I’m here.. 😂 Always trying to improve…
@@sammallone733 Sick guitar, I just had a look on the Ibby wiki. It does have the JP vibes, and almost looks like a BFR finish on a JPM. Stupid awesome, I love Japanese guitars, I got a few including an ESP Kirk Hammett KH-2 with serial #032 from 1993, an old toothpaste era Jackson and a Charvel 475 deluxe exotic from 93 as well. I am gonna grab a Music Man before the snow melts, I'm thinking about grabbing the JP6 20th anniversary model...it's a badass, and has just about everything I want in one shot. I've designed a few guitars on the various website builders and I always wind up with something similar...piezo, floating bridge, burst type finish, ebony, stainless frets, DiMarzio pickups, heel mount truss, locking Schallers, compensated nut. I love the EBMM headstock without a tilt...like a Strat....now is as good a time as ever to finally get a JP. I'm certainly not getting any younger😘
Yeah.. a JP6 would be the king of my little guitar collection. I always had the dream to own every main guitar of each guitar hero who influenced me throughout my live. So I got a Ibanez Jem 7VWH for Steve Vai, a Fender Stratocaster USA for The Edge, a Gibson Les Paul for Slash and (as far as it could get) the JPM alike RG4020 for Petrucci. That time I wanted the P2 so bad, but it couldn‘t been bought in Germany any more, not even on EBay. JP6 was new and far too expensive that days. I wanted a Washburn N4 for Nuno Bettencourt and a JS1000 for Joe Satriani. But somehow through the years my focus changed building a family and now I got many cheap guitars beside the ones counted above. A little dream will come true tomorrow, where i will receive my brand new PRS SE Custom 24 / 08 in Eriza Verde color (green). Since I saw Alain Ibrahim playing his 5 best John Petrucci Solos on such PRS and nailed the tone (and of course the playing) it is clear that I don‘t need much more of a guitar to become satisfied. And that will save some money. 😉👍
Congratulations man for the high level lesson!!
Thanks alot and thank you for your support :)

Dude this is awesome thanks for adding this. It'll probably be a year or more before I get to this part of Zen hahaha but awesome.
This is the way! 😄
