Do you also do ECU mapping for 2017 Dominar 400 D. I need to bring the bike for full servicing from a professional garage. Upto now I have been doing my own servicing in Udwada, Gujarat. Except for redoing the forks from a Bajaj service centre at Vapi.

@@skautocare On your basic stock on 2017 upgrade, which I have never done. I am sure there must have been upgrades till 2018 - 2019 for a 2017 bike.

But if ur bike is performing fine on the current update
Then no need for upgrade

During this monsoon i got water seeped in my petrol tank as the overflow pipe was clogged, can it be a reason for carbon deposit on spark plugs or only burning of oil is the sole reason for carbon deposit. Also what's the average km life of stock spark plugs?
Carbon on plugs is due to bad fuel, oil burning
Stock plugs we recommend changing at every 30k kms
Please make a detailed video on that spark plug carbon issue.

I am facing this issue after cold start should i change coils my bike is 6k driven and 8 months old only . When rev it suddenly it make a tak noise.

Have u tried HT coils firstly??
They are saying HT coils are ok
Change the ecu as they solved this type of problem earlier by re placing ecu in a bajaj Rs 200
I have even cleaned throttle body and all the sensors . Updated ecu but the bike worked fined till 1-2 days after then same problem

Sir meri rs 200 ke air filter box ka drain pipe nikala to halka engine oil tha mushkil se ek bund hoga koi dikkat hone wala hai kya engine me

I have the same problem with my dominar.... And also my bike miss at higher rpm many times which had made my riding experience bad
If missing at high rpm
Then wont be issue with HT coils
Get ur stepper motor checked

Hello sir my dominar 250 has an issue....even in neutral if i do give throttle suddenly it revs up to 7000 rpm then after that it jumps from 7k rpm to 9krpm then falls back to 7000 and when riding it jerks very badly...like the power is getting cut and put back again..any idea what to do for it.. even other mechanics and bajaj service centre can't find the issue and doesn't know what to do for it
This might be issue with TP sensor
Try changing and updating software once

I washed my bike today and then it did this. After riding it for sometime, it got back to normal, should I get it changed?

Same missing issue and if I rev it quick the bike will miss and shut down
Gave it to a shop for diagnosis
Tried ktm 390 FI but still same issue also changed the spark plugs and still same issue will changing the HT coils solve the issue?
I feel sad that my bike is standing without use and it cant go past 80km. Also I feel the power has dropped. Bike tends to shutdown when going uphill
Please need your advice as I don't want to waste a lot of money fixing an issue which doesn't exist

While riding bike is lagging and after that it's getting off many times it will be the same reason or the fuel pump problem?
Not necessary that the issue wud be HT coils
Try cleaning throttle body, install new plugs
Check after that
If still issue persists check fuel flow from pump
Get bike checked on OBD too

Mere paas Dominar 250 he jo 35000 chal chuka hei. Job mene uska plugs change karna chaha to servicing center walo ne side wala to kar diya lekin center plug change karne ke liye unlogo ke paas tool hi nahi tha. To kya aap mujhe batayenge ki kounsa tool use karna chahiye aur kya me kharid sakta hu kahi se? Kyunki mera dominar bhi missing kar raha hai.

Unko bolo karne
Spark plugs kyu gande hote hai aur kya solution hai ki yeh gande na ho aur carbon na lage enme please bataye

I'm owner of 2018 dominar...in kolkata whenever i go to service center they ask me to update my ecu for that i need to pay 550 for cleaning my throttle body...
Can you tell me after how many km should i clean my throttle body..
On the other hand i use liqui moly fuel system cleaner on every 5000 km

Sir I did not start bike for 2 weeks and now only back break light and switch back lite is glowing rest all there is no supply. From display to mini display on tank, fi motor is not turning on when I turn key on . What to do. Is battery down? I purchased new battery some 10 months ago and used bike 2 weeks ago

My bike runs properly most of the time. When i blip the throttle it cuts off, or if i accelerate suddenly she cuts off, recently had the magneto changed because it was burnt and draining my battery.
The problem is still persistant. Could it be the ht coils in my case too?

My bike is a 2017, 27000 kms run, owned by me.
Never got the throttle body cleaned, do you think that could be an issue.
When i blip throttle bike cuts off and if i accelerate gradually it picks up speed like normal.
Sometimes when I have a pillion with me, the engine bogs down and wants to cut off, but on revving a little it kicks back in.
Sometimes while riding at speed if i accelerate suddenly, she bogs down and has a second where it wants to cutoff but in the same throttle position suddenly kicks back in and takes off.
Very weird.

Sir, I have dominar 400 BS6 2020. When I am starting it, it remains start for 2-3 mins then shuts down automatically and FI malfunction light gets lit up in the console. What can be the reason ?
Might be issue either with pump, stepper motor, O2 sensor

Sir, I haven't checked about the fan but I took my bike from Jaipur to Goa and back. No issue happened. On the way back, near Jaipur, it started showing delayed throttle response. Then I washed it at home and after that it started showing this problem.

Bike was running then suddenly stopped. Tried 2 to 3 times and warning sign flashed after that bike started luckily.. Some said it might be fuel filter. My bike ran only 7200 km bs6 2020 model. Please share info if you come to know about that. I will contact Bajaj service center too on this.

Same issue mere dominar me bhi hai. 2021 model. Iska solution to mil gaya is video me. Ek aur problem hai bike me, jab bhi engine braking karte hai tab jhatka kyu lagta hai. Smoothly de-accelerate kyu nahi hota.
Main problem 3 and 4 gear pe aati hai agar high rpm me ja kar de-accelerate karte hai tab. Iska kya solution hai ?? Please reply. 😊.
Basically check karna hoga
- clutch loose hai tab bhi aisa hoga
- chain slack jyada ho to bhi aisa hoga
- throttle body condition check karna hoga
Bohot points hai check karne ko
Nearest dealership me diagnose kar lena

Mera 2020 bs6 dominar 400 mein jab handle bar right mein turn kar raha hu tho acceleration increase ho raha hai? Kya issue hoga..
Aur 2 din pehle achanak bike stop hogaya phir fi warning flash hua. 2 to 3 press ke baad bike start hogaya aur uske baad kuch 35 km chalaya aur kuch nahi hua..

@@skautocare handle bar riser jo normal ata hai 25mm ka instal kiya lekin woh kuch 1 year back kiya tha.. Uske baad kuch 4500 km chalaya lekin kuch issue nahi tah tab..

BS6 IS A PAIN. I had starting issue in Dominar 400 BS6. Bike stopped on the way home. Meter console was showing nothing. I called bajaj mechanic. He came and checked the Battery and fuse were in good condition. Then he removed the starter relay socket cleaned and put it back. Tightened the relay nuts. Removed and put back relay fuse which is placed separately under the RH cowl next to starter relay. Hola the bike started. He said some loose connection issue in the starter relay. Nothing replaced. He charged RS500. Just wanted to share with all.
BS6 is actually gud
Only TP sensor issue
That too being addressed in warranty 👍🏻
