Actually, in the beginning of the attack, the equations is Sephiroth creating a perfect copy of the universe and then the rest of the animation is him destroying it just to show his power. That's why everything gets destroyed, but the party is still standing.

Just finished it. Lol. I didn't like it at first but didn't want to play the remake without seeing the original. Got hooked before I knew it and have hardly touched the remake.
It's not that he was really that hard... it's just that you couldn't save the game right before entering the final battle. So if you die, you have to go through ALL the cut scenes and ALL the other creatures to defeat before battling Shephiroth. At that point I was like "fuck it". And just searched up the ending on TH-cam lol.
Tifa is such a damsel in distress for a so-called "bad ass martial artist." Trying to save Cloud but instead needs herself to be saved by Cloud. Can't count how many time Cloud needs to save her ass in the entire FFVII compilation.
My son hates this game so much, he says because it has no voices and just instrumental music and the cut-scenes are fake. Kids from this generation are spoiled. and this is honestly coming from a child who actually loves role playing games. But thats the problem with newer generation folks nowadays, its hard to get into something that is just obsolete by today's standards and technology. A real Shame. People these days don't know what TRUE art is in a video game and this was a work of art through and through
hey anyone else love how Advent Children totally invalidated the finality of Cloud ridding his subconscious of Sephiroth's hold on him in the final battle of the original game just for a cheap cash-in on its monumental success?
Enh, Sephiroth's always been like a cockcroach. He dies like 4 times in FFVII before staying down. I enjoyed Advent Children for what it was and appreciated some closure on how the party was getting on after the ending cuz I hated FFVII's original ending for how abrupt it was. Cloud's new duds and sword were a nice addition too, not to mention his sweet new ride. Also seeing what Cloud vs Sephiroth looks like outside turn based combat was cool as well. Overall I didn't mind Sephiroth coming back cuz in the original Cloud just kinda put aside his trauma to be the hero that was needed instead of actually working through it while in Advent Children he faces it head on and comes to terms with Aerith and Zack's deaths while also finally telling Sephiroth to fuck off straight to his face before proceeding to beat his ass all on his own this time. It just felt like it was a cleaner end to the story even if I disliked the stuff with the 3 brothers for the most part.
Playing the original back in the day, it ended so abruptly I wondered what happened to everyone. Then advent children came out and made sense of things
I got this game days ago and have to say it is totally worth it a lot!! I didn’t know how to play at first but getting the hang of it too! I’m glad I own the original and remake as well ❤️
Love this ending. So many purelly epic parts. But one that I think doesn't get pointed out enough : the final screen. That "visit card" or whatever it's called. When you get "FINAL FANTASY VII" printed on your face with that big sound. It just feels like the devs shouting "So this is our game. We're awesome. And you know it. You loved every parts of it." And then the kids laughing that give me shivers almost as much as Aerith's face when the lifestream saves the day...
Your opinion of course. Of the Final Fantasy series, I'll always go with 6, with it's epic tale of a man gone mad, destroying the world, thinking he was god, and achieving it, only to see his bitter end.
This definitely transitions to Sephiroth's last form far more quickly than the original PS1 release. Takes out some of the suspense by doing so though.
These were the days were games were all about the art and sound effects not about creating something that is supposed to resemble a photo-realistic movie. I think this is a type of innovative technology that has been kind of detrimental to the way video games are portrayed now in the medium. There is a style and substance to classic games, that modern games can't even begin to replicate now because everything is focused on trying to create something with such realism. Hell if i want to watch a blu-ray film ill watch a movie, but if i want to play a "game" i will play a game. This distinction is becoming more and more blurred, as time moves on and the old magic of video games is all but lost and forgotten.
Video games still have "old magic" to them. Honestly, as someone who grew up in the 90's and had every console between Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft, I would much rather play games now compared to back then. Level designs have improved, voice acting and performance capture have all taken radical steps forward, and new IPS continue to amaze and surprise us. You make it sound like newer games have not touched us in any kind of emotional way, but that is simply not true. There have been many iconic and groundbreaking games since 1998.
If you hate it when your friend monitors your reaction to their favorite TH-cam video, imagine being Uematsu waiting for the Final Fantasy 7 playtesters to get to One-Winged Angel

Neco The Sergal First Cloud, then Barret, then Cloud again, & now you're saying Red hit it??.. Poor old Tifa, they passed her around like a bong.
Idunno if Barret ever did - Clouds' probably a virgin still.
@Neco the Sergal Cloud and Tifa got it on hotter than Barret's gun at a road show. What you think they did under the Highwind? Cuddled?
Humanity DID survive. You hear kids playing in the background after the FFVII logo fades.
6:05 Sephiroth's official Final Smash in Ultimate during his reveal at the Game Awards! :D
Aw dammit, Sephiroth.. you couldn't have waited till Justin Bieber reproduced to destroy the solar system?
I'm more dead than Aerith with that comment!
Just use a Phoenix Down and you'll both be fine.
Kamuro Tetsu Copying the trend eh?
If Justin Bieber was a Nazi super weapon.....Maybe... #Higgs
DED
Yo so I finished the game and I'm stuck on this weird screen where shooting stars are coming towards the TV screen, what do I do now?
You've probably figured out by now, but that's where you turn off your console.
@@Metalora Yeah...god damn it lol
Does that screen mean game over for good? I remember i always got stuck on it but i also remember my cousins somehow were able to keep playing the game after beating sephiroth
The last battle was so climatic. The first time I played it I could literally feel the hate in Cloud's heart against sephiroth.
Bought a retro playstation a while back and just finished this. Absolutely class. Dont know what to do with myself now
Play FF VIII.
23:11 plays Circle of Life from The Lion King.
*This game never get old*
~Sephiroth~
the little redlings are so cute!
23:43 I don't remember creepy children laughing at the end.
"That was most likely my brothers and I after we were born in The Lifestream, heh heh!"-Kadaj.
Albert Chyn I do
still looking awesome the remake cant do nothing against this epicness!
22:12 -- FFVII Remake Begins.
A super soldier, a teenage ninja, and a dog kill a god
Pretty cool right
14:25 Crisis core PTSD.
Just finished it. Lol. I didn't like it at first but didn't want to play the remake without seeing the original. Got hooked before I knew it and have hardly touched the remake.
I'm only here because this final boss fight was so hard for me that it made me cry a little bit and I just gave up on the game.
This is like the easiest Final Fantasy.
Salah Al-Bloushi You get an item that spawns a save point while exploring Sephiroth's cave.
Anthony Starke it actually is. The only one I've completed.
its ok tk watch, noo need to stress over this useless skill to be able to beat Sephie
The scene of cloud saving tiffa was so great and she was very happy damn nice
But, let's face it.. He's still not over Aerith.
Tifa is such a damsel in distress for a so-called "bad ass martial artist." Trying to save Cloud but instead needs herself to be saved by Cloud. Can't count how many time Cloud needs to save her ass in the entire FFVII compilation.
Love this game. Jenova and Sephiroth are surprisingly easy to defeat for final bosses though.
After the remake I can't look at this game the same. The context of the Remake really adds a lot to what the original means to the future of FFVII.
People these days don't know what TRUE art is in a video game and this was a work of art through and through
despite the fact i'm 14, your statement could never be anymore true.
I love this game.
hey anyone else love how Advent Children totally invalidated the finality of Cloud ridding his subconscious of Sephiroth's hold on him in the final battle of the original game just for a cheap cash-in on its monumental success?
....At least we got a sick alt costume out of it
Enh, Sephiroth's always been like a cockcroach.
Zack / Aeris ( in heaven)
Cloud / Tifa
Thats it.
Davidrozone well 500 years later theyre both in the lifestream having a double date
12:43 Does that music have a name? I'd like to know
Forget it. I just found out. "Those chosen by the planet"
You loved every parts of it."
And then the kids laughing that give me shivers almost as much as Aerith's face when the lifestream saves the day...
23:18 this is the tale of Avalanche time!
"I think we all know who was crying there,right,Loz?"-Kadaj
Everybody gangsta, until u hear One Winged Angel
Greatest game of all time. (Just my opinion lol don't be triggered)
Matthew B. Ff x
Zelda ocarina of time is the best. You can’t regret it.
Eh i like oot but i always loved this more
@@pokemontrainerserena2712 it WAS the best...hasn't aged well
@@fs2300 ff9 is better
best game ever.
Dark Soul6785 Same
Your opinion of course. Of the Final Fantasy series, I'll always go with 6, with it's epic tale of a man gone mad, destroying the world, thinking he was god, and achieving it, only to see his bitter end.
can be argued with 9. theirs alot of fans with 9. so, 9 may be as big as 7....
Great game? Definitely. Best? No.
The most amazing ost final boss
That sad moment when u realize u r finishing the game...Yikes...
I didnt want to leave FF world
7 Seconds til the end.
The high light of this fight for me was definitely the supernova cutscene it just blew my mind as a kid
Cheers to everyone who is here and is hoping that the Fate of Aerith in the remake is different.
This definitely transitions to Sephiroth's last form far more quickly than the original PS1 release. Takes out some of the suspense by doing so though.
Just beat this beast of a game today. What a masterpiece. Rewatching this because of the one winged angel theme
Best final boss I have faced in the games.
im sure Aerith will come back after thinking is death in the new version and everyone will be hype as hell.
100% agreed.
10:25 you can hear him say "Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck!" as he fades away.
If you hate it when your friend monitors your reaction to their favorite TH-cam video, imagine being Uematsu waiting for the Final Fantasy 7 playtesters to get to One-Winged Angel
I told my Mother she needs to play this all the way through before she dies. I stand by what I said
12:54 cloud's most badass momment
4:44 Excuse me but what kind of Broly is that???
Thanks you for the beautiful Video!
I just finished the OG FF7! I spammed all my Bahamut summons to beat Jenova and Sepiroth :D good thing i also had cure all (cure3)and revive all (life 2) since Sepiroth's final form had 1 shot kill spells. :D
