I am old enough to know when you could have purchase a three family home in the city of Boston for under $20,000 dollars and condos for under $50,000. The city of Boston were actually giving away Brownstone buildings for $1.00 to $10,000 during "white flight" of School Segregation!
Spring and Summer are the most beautiful seasons, big gardens full of flowers, lakes and clean streets. Safe place to walk @ any hours, great schools,. Moved to brookline few years ago, not much activities things to do for a 3rd. age generation and make friends.
