That is because there were 2 series aired in Australia before the American series started up. Most of the scenarios in the American series were taken from the Australian ones.

I give all the supporting actors a 7/10 for this skit, but Jimoen was just a fizzle and than ......nothing.!

I can believe that Americans would take the same setting of the Australian TGYH. Why can they think of a complete different one?
