I worked the night shift and let me tell you it is not for the weak, Working 12 long hours is hard on anyone but it is especially hard on the night shift workers and adding that extra hour to the mix didn’t make it in easier so when I went in the break room and saw the boxes there left for us I was in total awe, It made me feel valued, appreciated and loved.. THANK YOU… The box was shared with everyone not just nurses it was share with the entire night shift crew which included Doctors, PA’s, CNA’s, ED tech’s, Respiratory tech’s, Ultrasound techs, Pharmacist, Pharmacy tech’s, PSA’s, Housekeepers, Etc.. It was shared with any and everyone who works the night shift.. We all work together as a team and rely on one another… I love being a part of the healthcare field and only plan on furthering my education… Thank you for thinking about us, It was something that was unexpected and something you didn’t have to do but from the kindness of your heart you stayed up and made us these beautiful boxes of love.. I think I grabbed a ink pen, a facemask, ear plugs, a couple pieces of chocolate and some popcorn…😂😂😂 (All the goodies) I was so blown away with this kind gesture that when I got home I woke up my husband and I shared the news with him. He responded that was very nice of WGU and to that I agreed… Once again thank you WGU for your kindness we appreciate you more then you know…
