Just a quick reshave and trim, although I did go a bit shorter than planned lol. My hair is still just as damaged as ever, so I try to clean up the ends every once in a while. But maybe I should just cut it all off!

I once heard that the sideburns represent bat wings but idk if that's the reason. Deathhawks are mostly worn in the Goth subculture so bats are not that far fetched. I have a deathhawk myself and I absolutely adore my sideburns. I love how they frame my face and the whole shaved part kinda looks "less naked" if you know what I mean.

I admire the patience and freaking arm strength 😂 I'm aspiring to do sth similar to you and sectioning not only does take me long long ages and a lot of confusion with the mirror showing one thing and my muscle memory saying otherwise but also every 5 seconds or so I just have to let my arms down cause it burrrrn 😅 And also like, even more admiration for using the mirror in your hand instead of installing it behind you. Also, thank you for posting this! My mohawk is up for its first trim soon (aiming to maintain at about 5 inches) and I couldn't figure out how to cut it. If I don't have it up, I usually flop it over on one side. The way you cut yours looks great flopped over! Yes, I AM going to try it at home! :P
