I add one more good thing. The rear boot axle is not goose neck type. Persona use advanced axle with dampers. It gives more boot space and convinience. Nice review btw 👍🏼
M spec owner since 2011. Master brake pump was a 1.3 WRM. we got cheated. I changed it to double vacuum Nissan Sentra brake pump. It works. You're right about needing good tyres.

I hope it’s not too late to send this wishes (like damn this is 2021 vid but you get my point), but I hope there’s still more plan from you guys to produce more vid or article. I liked watching car culture, more so a local scene with this sort of approach and presentation.

I used to owned the SV version, bought on 2015 as my first car. The SV version is the last batch before the new Persona VVT came out. The SV offers a lot more than their predecessors, it came with the Strut Bar, an ABS & disc brake on all 4 wheels. I'd say issa bang for a buck.

For that era of cars, the plastics are pretty typical. Nothing good nothing too bad. NVH is bad when on rougher roads but thats expected. Overall, I feel it is acceptable for what it is and what it's supposed to be. There are ways to make it better for example my steering wheel wrap, or splash some money for sound deadening. Seats are surprisingly great.
I guess CamPro needs a bit of recognition tho cos sluggish outside, but a lot of good potential inside. Best to ditch iafm and put other better variable intake manifold system in, then I guess the torque dip would be less obvious.

Torque dip is the torque dip, its how the car delivers the torque, like our cars deliver max hp at 6000rpm for example. IAFM is the cheapest way to mitigate the torque dip. Turbo is best. CPS has best NA performance. To answer the fixing iafm, i just didnt want to pay the price for it. I also do rev my engine quite high all the time which didnt matter to me much. Iriz intake is half the price of iafm.
I had one. An economical car with lovely ride and handling. In stock form, it could easily beat Civic FC in handling. Very predictable and very easy to push the grip to the limit. But it had its quirks. The engine is a real bottleneck.

Add in the front & rear strut bars and you will begin to feel the difference. Whatever time you loose on the straights you will gain back in the corners. It is a nice car, I am still keeping it for sentimental value. But man it looks like you didnt take care of your car lol. I will be so sad to see my car in this state; no offense.

Yes. Borderline C segment. Myvi is way more spacious, but im always scared of ppl banging the rear, nothing to absorb the impact other than rear passengers
@@undertreemechanic My unit have this weird GB issue where the gear refuse to shift into first gear wor, need to come into a complete stop or below 20km/h then can change to 1st gear, if speed above 20km/h it refuse and gear become hard like somethings blocking it to shift into first gear and if I force with enough force, it will have this grinding sound like the gears biting each other.
@@undertreemechanic I forgot the elegance uses the same IAFM engine my bad, my bad haha, Well the oil is always kept in check etc, and the GB never let me down since the day it got out of the showroom, will try and send it to the SC to see if they can rectify the issue, my only gripe is this car FC, my Altis is a bit economical than my persona. 😂😂😂😂😂

Torque dip happened in all campros. Even iafm u still can feel it, just better. Iriz gave me better top end.

Oh yes. The IAFM made it feel better but its present among all NA Campro

Its way past the maximum age for ehailing. I did it for 9 months and it was very fuel inefficient.

Way way more refined buddy, in terms of NVH, chassis. But engine CPS is way way better than IAFM's.

Wdym iafm and elegance? They are the same thing haha. For your gearbox issue, u grinded it too much before? Oil kept well? Or used too long?
