This is one of my favourite tracks from Einaudi. It makes me think of the kind of love we have for our parents and the people we love so powerfully and want to protect and cherish forever, except of course life has an expiry date on it. I listened to this track on repeat when writing a novel about exactly this kind of love. Thank you for your music.

we all are born to be good at sth.. it's just sad that most of us don't realize it or be too afraid to fly to get the stars that are meant for each of us because we r almost too sure that we will fall. being in the crowd feels safe but at one point in our life we'll realize how we just waste our only one chance of living. i didn't see this through only until recently and now i am constantly panicking because even tho i am only in my 20s, i feel like time is running out for me to catch up. realizing this doesn't make me feel hopeful but sad, just incredibly sad and lonely because none of my friends seem to understand, maybe they all have been so clear about their passion and they r on the right path or maybe they haven't realized it yet. i am trying to listen to my heart but this is scary as it feels like i am about to jump off a cliff n hope that i'll fly, and the thing about life is we all have to do this alone. but thank you for your comment :) so that i know i am not alone to believe that we all are born to be good at sth

Everything you say is true but some ppl don't even have the opportunities to achieve their dreams, so as much as I believe we have to take risks and be courageous, there is that too, not anyone can do what they want :( I wish everyone was equally able to do what they want, then we would all be happier. For me music was a big passion but I couldn't pursue it and idk how much of it was bc of me not getting out of my comfort zone and how much of it was bc I needed to do other things to do good both for myself and other people. I'll still do that, learn how to play piano, go to concerts as much as I can, admire the ones that are up there, it is good. As for feeling like we are wasting our times by not living accordingly to our dreams, I think you are not alone and I am glad you try to listen to your heart, I hope life gives you what you want and if not you can still make the most of what you have I hope :) I am having existential thoughts and questioning my purpose these days but I feel like it is natural. Anyway life is about resiliance sometimes and I am sure we are good at some things even if we don't notice that! Even trying is enough 💙💞
Nazlıcan i am in the same situation actually, final year in my uni as a business student. i don't even know why i chose business when my mind was screaming literature, english and arts. I should've listened to my heart instead of the ppl around me questioning how that career path is not as good as business. only recently did i realize how i have been such a fool, doing what i am not meant to be doing. i'm not doing bad, but not the best as it's not my strength so i dun feel motivated. almost all extra courses i chose were literature-related and i have never been so inspired from any classes before. but i'll still try my best to use what i am good at the artistic side to help with what i got from business. grass is always greener on the other side, maybe that's why i feel like this now. for your passion in music:) i also have a passion for music, esp guitar and singing. i love it but i never rly show. months ago i showed a friend my audio tape and he was surprised, telling me that i was undermining myself and encouraged me to show it to see where it will lead. since then i've been trying to step out of my comfort zone- singing casually in friends' parties, gathering then last week uploaded a video to fb. the reaction was way better than i expected and i am glad that i took that small step to show someone. n now i feel much supported to try establishing sth out of it. so maybe we can always try taking small steps even when we r not sure. i understand what you say about not being free to do whatever we want cos of many reasons and also this is simply how life is, just like my parents'. hold on to that passion and i hope that it'll lead you to where you wanna be, where you feel like you are making good impact on someone's life with it (that's the purpose of life to me). i'm rly glad to have chatted with u here :)

It is great that you are this interested in arts in every way, it is okay we can still do things in our way, there is no point in regretting now, it is good we are trying to make the right choices now, and a degree is a good thing and we are lucky. Omg how does it feel to be talented in music, it is amazing, you are so brave in doing that, I am glad it turned out good, now you can do sth you enjoy, it was worth the risk, it is always worth the try when it is what you want, but it is scary, so what you did was impressive. JFK was visiting NASA when he saw a janitor n asked him what he was doing. he replied that he was helping put a man on the moon. so sometimes how we see sth we do makes great difference. n the purpose of the same thing can vary with different ppl too. Being a doctor is honourable but also bears lots of responsibilities and expectations. is that part of the reasons why you r scared? maybe you can think of it this way. i know that doctors can't save everyone, but they give hopes when we r weak or scared, much like music. you r given the skills n knowledge to give people chances, so they can embrace life and chase their passion, dreams n experience amazing things in life like music. i hope that you'll find ur reasons :) It's so nice that you r going to take piano lessons! you'll be great :) hope this video will still be here when i wanna thank you for the words when i am feeling so scared n lost

one of the reasons why i love music is how it can make me feel, putting flashes and images and senses in my head like i am experience sth even when i am just sitting here in my room listening. then it puts a smile on my face, then it puts tears in my eyes. it's not particular happiness or sadness i feel, they are just emotions rushing into my heart and getting overwhelming
