I am one of those complainers coming forward. I do enjoy playing this game, but could it be better? All they need to do is allow you to be able to use the other speeder bikes in my opinion instead of that bloody moped.
As someone who’s also complaining about the game, coming forward, I detest the AI and stealth takedowns. The AI is still brain dead despite all updates received. The combat takedowns with slapping or hammerfisting is ridiculous. Reminds me of the Kenobi show (shudder) with the horrible helmet slapping on stormtroopers. I was hoping to get stormtroopers that had wit and some evidence of brain cells in this game. Jedi academy had better AI for stormtroopers sometimes lol.
My thoughts on the game are: Honestly, as mentioned previously, i jumped back in when Wild Card released and already played around 20+ hours so far, not even left the first system, yet and i'm having a BLAST! with it. For me it is safe to say that Star Wars Outlaws alongside Metaphor ReFantazio is surely my personal GOTY '24 and i still can't comprehend what the people's SEEMINGLY INTENSE problems are they're having with it 🤷♂ At this point right now, i'm experiencing a very polished videogame with great and well paced gameplay and an even better soundtrack. It surely has it's problems like every other game, but they are a minor flaw to me. On the other hand the positive aspects are a big W. As always, thanks for the video, can't wait to play the game and the upcoming "A Pirate's Fortune"!!
@timothypricesr5953 so you finished it? story was pretty good heist gone wrong put a team together for revenge what exactly do you want a scoundrel story to be lol

I personally think that the ‘band of ruthless pirates that Hondo has history with’ is referring to the new Onhacka Gang that was re-formed by Captain Skragg and was active during the time of the original trilogy, completing separate to Hondo and his other criminal enterprises.
I honestly think this game is pretty lit so far. My only wishlist items for updates are -the ability to have multiple speeders including the classic imperial speeder bikes that you can jack from all the scout troopers out in the world. -the ability to draw my blaster and smoke random stormtroopers in towns for urban shootouts rather than only in outskirts. -textures that load in and stay loaded in because after like a half hour of playing, the textures start losing all detail. -more blaster skins because I think Kay’s blaster looks like trash. Just let me use the dl-44 or whatever the laser version of the Mauser c96 is. It’d also be cool to be able to have permanent rifles like the e-11 and have a red dead style weapon wheel that maybe you store on your speeder for balancing reasons.
So I love this game but unfortunately the last update broke my game on PS5, framerate drops to like 10fps and below on Toshara and in heavy gunfight, crazy screen tearing, and crashes left and right. I legit had little to no bugs before this update, so I'm kind of pissed because again, I love this game and really want to get wild card. Still super excited for Pirates bounty. So glad Jim Cummings is back for Hondo
I really liked wild card, and I’m very excited for the next dlc! I’ve always loved Hondo, but I think seeing ND-5 having to put up with Hondo is the thing that I’m looking forward to the most 😂
@@Hannah_G haha agreed, didn’t think of this at first but now thinking about it this will be hilarious. This DLC will have its moments already I can tell.
I wish they add more gear attributes or mods whatever its called for this game, whatever it has right now pretty repetitive, especially adrenaline and silent take down. They should more like crit chance or crit damage, i don't mind if they move go deeper with loot like division games not as much as deep but that would make game more replaceable and of course more planets or more areas on existing planets would be nice too.
They don't. Billy Dee is too old to work anymore. I saw him in person last year and he's not all there. Dozens of people also took to reddit how he was very much not there. Sad but he just is gone... a few lines for a LEGO film is not the same as several hours working on a game
I think the game got review bombed by the “Disney ruined Star Wars” fans and even people like me who don’t think that were like “ehh I’ll wait til it’s on sale.” Now it’s been out for a while, it’s been on sale, and people are buying it and going “oh, it’s Assassin’s Creed in Star Wars but with some extra features. Ok, cool.” It’s not on the level of Jedi Survivor, but it’s still fun. I hate how games now are reduced to “It’s the best game of all time” or “it’s the worst game of all time.” Just because a game isn’t mindblowing doesn’t mean it’s horrible. We should want games to constantly be improving but sometimes games are just good. And it’s ok to say you enjoyed a good (but not amazing) game.
The game's been out several months. Most people play on PlayStation. Of course it was never going to have the hundreds of thousands That PlayStation has. The core fans have already bought and played this game just not on steam
You keep saying in your Outlaw videos no idea what all the hate is about since this game in your opinion is like an 8/10 or 10/10 is intellectually dishonest. The warning signs have been here for a long time to the entire game industry and Ubisoft has taken the front seat as one of the worst offenders in this space. While there are some hate posts (this is the internet after all) the vast majority of criticism for the game and Ubisoft management decisions are valid feedback. Ubisoft staff and some content creators and journalists clapping back at valid criticism is the same as hate only showed a majority of gamers a company unwilling to humble themselves to take feedback. 1. The most common complaint was the price packages Ubisoft keeps pushing on single-player games expecting players to pay $130 on release to even get to play the game three days early. The value presented to players was not there. Skull and Bones was a perfect example of a game that would have done much better at a $30 or $40 price point at launch then $130 for the ultimate edition. Understandable this is not an Outlaw dev team issue but more of a C-suit Ubisoft decision but none less the pricing of products that do not fit the value in a market dealing with hyperinflation makes horrible business sense to push this on consumers and then gaslight these games are AAAA quality. 2. A hyper-focus on subscription-based models for single-player titles. 3. Plus like previous Ubisoft releases Outlaws being the worst example was released in a very unpolished state that had several game-breaking bugs that completely ruined the experience for many. There is a reason AC Shadows was delayed the weak sales of players protesting the prices and the weak polishing of titles sent a message to Ubisoft that gamers are not going to keep buying unfinished products. While some bugs are expected game breaking bugs we saw at release with the AI, Stealth, and technical issues are not acceptable. Yes I bought the game on sale and overall it is a fun experience but this is no 10/10. As of title update 4, this game is more of a 6/10 or 7/10 as it is fun when working but does not bring anything really new to the genre. 4. 3K players for a game on Steam are not good numbers. Stop kidding yourself and others. For a game that is on sale, those numbers should be much higher. Most players would like to play the game but most are holding out in protest for the first three reasons above. If A7ZATRU or anyone else wants to argue this game is one of the best Star Wars games at launch and has no idea why so many do not like it, it wouldn't surprise me this same group thought the Acolyte was one of the best Star Wars TV series made by Disney. Open your eyes and read the room.
@@A7ZATRU ?? You do know it is the internet and there are always trolls or those wanting to get a reaction. Going to the far reaches of one subreddit or a social media post is not a character of the overall general population who got the game or was at one time interested in the game. The vast criticism online of the lead protagonist is related to the character model, who is very different from the actual actor. That is valid feedback. Are you saying that feedback is not allowed? How do you expect game devs to hear feedback to improve? Not sure where you are getting your info there is some hate campaign against this game because it has a female. I have already outlined to you the majority of the bad reviews was the poor technical state of the game at launch. A vast majority of consumers do not care who is the main character as long as the game is good. The game's technical issues were the main reason for the poor reaction. Making the argument it is because gamers do not like women is only an excuse diluted from reality to shield the real feedback to make the game better. Keep in mind that hate speech and speech one does not like or agree with are two entirely different things.
Again, they have issues with women. The actor was cast well after the model was made. She is not meant to look like her. The actor said this herself. This is just like many other game characters. Not every one needs to be Cal... if anyone has an issue with a 3d model they are unwell and need help.
@@A7ZATRU The fact the game did not do well is not about sexism. I outlined very clear points to you but you want to argue like an elementary child it is all sexism only. Your social and political viewpoints have nothing to do with reporting on gaming news and reviews. Good luck with that delusion.
@@A7ZATRU The average gamer is not aware of the involvement of modeling versus motion capture. Just because one studio decides to model a character different than what most in the industry do does not make criticism for that decision being from someone unwell. Not everyone reads game journal articles of interviews of the voice actors to see this information. Unisoft has not been very forward with the community on the reasons for the decision to counter that criticism. My wife plays the game and dislikes the character model. Does that mean she is a sexist and hates women? To label everyone who brought it up as unwell speaks more volumes about you generalizing everything to a simple form to dismiss it. They should change the melee animations on the troopers so people cant complain anymore...
I'm really enjoying the game. Sure it's had issues but it's moving in the right direction. I'd love them to add new planets like Kessel.
Any more patches planned? Would love to see a SHOP added to buy weapons.
Judging as how we got a brand new outfit in Wild Card (that being the Gambler outfit), I'm thinking we might get one as well in A Pirate's Fortune
Thank god it's jim Cummings. When lando wasn't played by Billy dee Williams, I was worried about hondo.
When is it going to be the new game + available?
I hope we get to blast Hondo. I hated him and Cad Bane in the clone wars, and Bane bought it in Boba Fett’s show, so just one left.

that's her mother and the DLC can take place before the end of the game

it is, she just calls her by her first name because she obvs didnt like being abandoned

Will there be any new planets
I hope its gonna be longer than 3 h😢 aaaaand it would be perfect if we get new planet like Nar Shadaa but i think its too much
