They will note every deviation from the instructions, every miscount/spoken/balance issue, everything that is or could be an indication of intox, and at the same time they will NOT write down anything you do right. There is no pass/fail. If they want you to do SFSTs, you are already screwed and just giving them more evidence against you. There is no "dispel my suspicion", the ONLY purpose SFSTs serve is to provide evidence against you. Now, it is also important to know that they DO pull random people sometimes, do the SFSTs, and then say "well you passed with flying colors have a good day!" to keep the myth alive. In those cases, the person was never in trouble to begin with, and now theres another general citizen with no particular interest who will swear up n down that you can pass SFSTs.

I'd like to see a new law allowing stores to 'steal' shoplifters cars and wallets when they're caught shoplifting. It's obvious coddling these thieves isn't working.
I used to work in theft prevention in my younger days, and we did not have cameras back then. So I get it how people back then though they might get away, but with all the technology now, its truly amazing to me how people don't expect to get caught. If anything, my guess is that people these days don't care if they get cough since our lax courts these days refuse to hold these criminals accountable.

It saves the "one one-thousand" rigamarole and is actually an intelligent way of doing the test. Even though she missed the estimate, the system that she used was more than valid, but the cop was such an 'in-the-box' thinker (no imagination and an extreme 'rule follower') , that her explanation of her system wasn't something he was even capable of understanding. The irony here is that the woman is much more intelligent than he is, yet he's laughing at her in a condescending manner, as if she's the one who makes no sense!! He's a rule follower at all costs and she's got his IQ beat by a mile. Besides that, it was more than obvious that he was determined to arrest her no matter what. PS - what's all of this skipping back and forth between video clips, with no resolution whatsoever?? The video is put together terribly.

Just because the cop was too stupid to understand her concept of counting to 60 normally instead of counting 1001, 1002, 1003, doesn't mean she was wrong. He didn't aske her to count to 30, he asked her to ESTIMATE 30 seconds. He also didn't demonstrate the tests. He was looking for anything to arrest her for.

The location I was had had a industrial size garbage disposal in back of store for spoiled/expired, tampered with or recovered stolen food. They'd enter the loss into the computer system and then dump it all down the garbage disposal.
