Market cap means there will only be X amount of units. XRP has 146B units. Each unit is priced whatever your neighborhood is willing to pay. Right now people are only willing to pay $2.5 or so.

You are treating XRP like it has the same valuation as a company. Market Cap is the term used for Market Value, meaning the valuation of a company with liabilities, Assets and Equity. Crypto is not companies, meaning that If there is 10 trillion $1 transactions over a span of 10 days it will equal a higher value for XRP compared to $10 trillion being invested into the market at 1 time. This is because Supply and Demand is the market mover for all things except companies. So yes if you value anything else, except Companies, by Market Cap it wil not be accurate.❤

Nooo. You miss the gap for mc in crypto vs security. 100B tokens used for cross border payments at trillions a day has nothing to do with the valuation of Ripple when their escrow is in circulation. It's a bad metric. Market cap is a bad metric for xrp. If the global bank cross border payments network happens via xrp mc won't matter to the value of Ripple and it will calculate at 100z of trillions bc it would be more like owning oil or "finance" vs a company like apple

You are treating XRP like it has the same valuation as a company. Market Cap is the term used for Market Value, meaning the valuation of a company with liabilities, Assets and Equity. Crypto is not companies, meaning that If there is 10 trillion $1 transactions over a span of 10 days it will equal a higher value for XRP compared to $10 trillion being invested into the market at 1 time. This is because Supply and Demand is the market mover for all things except companies. So yes if you value anything else, except Companies, by Market Cap it wil not be accurate.❤
