I love watching the color change as I am knitting. I'm looking forward to seeing the finished sweater for your granddaughter. Oh, I like something small and easy when I travel😊
I learn so much from your videos. Loved how you went over the numbers for the sweater you were going to cast on I think it will be beautiful. Your granddaughters hoodie is so cute , all those colors I love watching to see what color comes next as well.
Fun cast on! I recently saw the mnemonic "I left through the front door, I'll be right back" to keep M1L and M1R straight. That helped me to remember.... otherwise I had to make notes to keep next to me until I got into the swing of the pattern.
Julie is a lucky little girl! I now have 3 grandchildren and am currently making the second of 3 cardigans. We live near Atlanta so I'm not sure how much they would actually use sweaters. Your yarn is gorgeous!
I wonder how you managed your colors to get your hanspun. Is it a 2 ply? Did you split your braids vertically and spun end to end from the same direction? Thanks!
It's a fractal spin, in 3 plies. I did one set of bobbins end to end, then divided the others into progressively smaller strips (2 pieces, then 4) to get the striping mixed with marl effect. I can't wait to show off the way it looks now that I've knitted a bunch more! ❤️❤️❤️
@@whiskyandwool omg it’s been hot here in El Paso lately it be cool to meet up There is a Selena exhibit in the El Paso art museum if you want to look at art in town when you go

Super fun cast on ! I looove that you use your handspun a lot, I need to do that too . Can’t wait to see that little hoodie!
Thank you! I learn so much about my spinning by knitting with it! ❤️❤️❤️

This tip really helped me and stuck with me. I've not had to look up for reference since. M1R, r for rear so you would bring needle from back.
Great tip!! ❤❤❤
I love your artwork in the background :)
Thank you so much 😀
I usually do crochet provisional cast on right onto the needle…
Nice! I'm a creature of habit 😜❤
@@whiskyandwool do you think it makes a difference? I find I don’t always cast into a separate chain in the right place
That might happen sometimes but then I just clip the chain when I’m picking up the stitches.
