What? D-wade fans make comments like 3rd best SG over guys like jerry west and Drexler all the time.
Also D-wade losing points because in 2006 everyone knows they only won because of the refs, no one is impressed by a dude shooting 25 ft every game.

Universe 11's Jiren Its cos his career was plagued by injury. This dude had arguably only two 'healthy' years in his prime and the rest he was clearly affected by his shoulder and knee issues. Yet he's still clearly the 3rd greatest SG of all time and if LBJ had shown up in 2011, Wade would've won a second finals MVP and would be much closer to Kobe all time and probably a top 15 player all time.

Wade was indeed special and is absolutely valid as One of the 5 best 2 guards ever, yet for the Mamba to be this battle wary in the league, from going against the MJ's, the AI, the Miller's, the Carters, Roy's, & Mgrady's,...for him to still be battling the new era of greatness on the waning end of his prime but still at his best peak condition, giving it his all, working hard on both ends...is truly epic.

@@bluetech7128 IMO, Prime D Wade was closer to resembling 1st 3 peat Jordan than Kobe was from an aesthetic & statistical standpoint. Kobe only truly started to resemble 2nd 3 peat MJ, when he changed his number to 24. That's when Kobe started to understand & have the all around game of basketball. But D Wade physique, athleticism, high level efficiency & proficiency when finishing at the rim & from the mid-range & Defense was more Jordan esque. Yes, Kobe tried to mimic Jordan but imo he wasn't as agile, graceful or forceful as D Wade. Other than the 6'6 height Kobe also didn't have quiet the physique as Jordan or D Wade. Kobe overall actually resembles Jordan's predecessor - Elgin Baylor. Kobe just simply had smaller hands, slower first step & lower I.Q.

A perfect example of his career would be in the 2012 second round playoffs against the pacers.. wade was only 2-13 fg in game 3 had his knee drained afterwards, then scored 30, 28 and 41 points in the next three games all victories.

Wade on the other hand had his left meniscus REMOVED before even stepping foot on the nba court back when he was in Marquette.
He even quoted in 2014, “Whatever way you look at it, I'm going into my 11th season, there's lots of guys who haven't made it this far."

Miss how physical and personal these battles were we just don’t have the same type of alpha to alpha physical battles anymore. I remember watching these guys go at it simply to be better than the other. Miss this level of competitiveness both these guys were monsters. Same with Carmelo, Bron, KG, Dirk, Tmac , Gilbert arenas all those guys 💪🏽

Kobe is underrated so many disrespect him when he had a solid GREAT career people dream of accomplishing and had 22 injuries throughout his whole career and still was that great people need to chill on the Kobe disrespect shit

For the dudes who hate on Kobe's shot selection and why he took so many shots, see second to last Laker possession. When Kobe gave up the ball his teammates often failed him. That's why the man retired with 5 chips because he knew he could bet on himself more than on his teammates most of whom were underachievers.

If it weren't for Wade's knees, he could've been top 3 all time. Hands down the greatest HOT shooter of all time. When he's on, he's on.

The reason why Jordan was healthy compared to Wade and Bryant is that he had hustle players in his entire career built around him
Kobe & Dwyane carried their teams for multiple seasons by just being the only star in the team.
Both Kobe and Wade missed a lot of games because of injuries
This could have changed the narrative so much if they were both healthy
