Theatre De Complicite is the most innovative company's ever. saw them many times at The Theatre Upstairs at Leigh College in the 80's.
Interesting guy. A heart filled with creativity.
I remember seeing them in Covent Garden, and wow!!!! Creative indeed...
no nonsense, at the essence. shrewd analysis. french tutor is whom one remembers in onegin; school master in jane eyre. rather effective delivery. good to watch some who know what they are doing.
I've seen Street Of Crocodiles - on the grapevine - twice (but never all of it).

a very odd man and company but a wonderful group of storytellers, if you haven’t seen the encounter (now on their youtube) i’d definitely recommend it
