Accept people laughing at your $0.50 dividends, Stick to the process and accumulate more shares,Laugh at them for not understanding how compounding works.

My first dividend was less than $1, but it provided me with the framework to get to enough in dividends to cover expenses.Once you get that first one, you get hooked.

Investing in stocks can be a wise decision, especially if you have a dependable trading system that can lead to successful outcomes. Personally, I've been working with a financial advisor for about a year now. Starting with less than $200K and I'm now just $19,000 away from making half a million in profit.

Most of my money is in ETFs. But I do have a small allocation to individual stocks that I have a strong conviction in. Strong foundation first.

Accurate asset allocation is crucial, and some individuals use hedging strategies or allocate part of their portfOlio to defensive assets for market downturns. Expert guidance is vital for achieving this. This approach has helped me stay finan-cially secure for over five years, yielding nearly $1 million in returns on invest-ments.

This year's problems will certainly be more difficult. Looking back, I realized that I was so preoccupied with my portfolio that I made bad financial mistakes throughout the previous year. I had to decide between boosting my investments and buying a house. After deciding to sell my investments, I learned that the home I had purchased needed more maintenance than I had anticipated. Trying to figure out how much longer I can tolerate this is becoming more difficult

To diversify your portfolio, invest in companies with observable cash flows. I've earned money in over 500 different markets in the previous 10 months since I employed a planner to help me strengthen my portfolio at the end of 2023. If 2023 teaches us anything, it's that good fortune is temporary. Even in good times, we should put in more effort to prepare for the worst case scenario.

    • @AngelaPecoraro-v9z

Okay how can one locate a reputable financial planner? I wouldn't mind searching the professional who served you. I'll be retiring in two years and may require some assistance managing my considerably larger assets. Don't want to take chances.

A lot of folks downplay the role of advlsors until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for licensed advisors and came across someone of utmost qualifications. She's helped grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to $850K.

My portfolio doesn’t just cater to dividend stocks. I hold $VFIAX (S&P 500 index fund) in my Roth IRA and $VTI (Total Stock Market ETF) in my taxable brokerage account. Two of my largest holdings. The individual dividend stock positions all complement the index holdings.

If you lack market knowledge, your best bet is to seek advice or support from a consultant or investing coach. Contacting a consultant may sound simple, but it's how I've managed to stay afloat in the market and increase my portfolio to roughly 60% early this year. It is, in my opinion, the best way to get started in the industry right now.

We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. Trading on a demo account can definitely feel similar to the real market, but there are some differences. It's important to remember that trading involves risks and it's normal to face looses sometimes. One piece of advice is to start small and gradually increase your investments as you gain more experience and confidence. It might also be helpful to seek guidance from experienced traders or do some research on different trading strategies

Consider exploring energy stocks, as they are poised to be significant beneficiaries of advancements in AI and data centers. Additionally, practicing Dollar Cost Averaging (DCA) into a reputable ETF could be beneficial. It's crucial to prioritize patience and maintain a long-term perspective. Most importantly, seek financial advice to make informed buying and selling decisions.

These are very valuable info. Unfortunately, most people who will watch this video will not really be able to apply the knowledge embedded in it. We may not want to admit, but as Warren Buffett once said, investing is like any other profession-- it requires a certain level of expertise. No surprise that some people are losing a lot of money in the bear market, while others are making hundreds of thousands in profit. I just don't know how they do it. I've got $200k set aside to put in the market.

Understanding personal finances and investing will most likely lead to greater financial independence. By being knowledgeable about money and investing, individuals can make informed decisions about how to save, spend, and invest their money. Yeah, brokerage AdvisoRs could make a lot of difference, particularly in a market such as this. Stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of investors raking in 6 to 7 digits in a space of months. So, I think there are a lot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look. I have been using an FA since 2020, and the least I returned was $140k ROI, and this does not include capital gain.

I always see videos on what we need to invest in, but I need to learn in how to invest. How to build a portfolio. More about the products. Which products will benefit me. What does buy and sell mean? There is so much within the investment process that I am uncertain which I feel has kept me stagnant so now I am diving into these things so I am learn, grow and build.

@pointofviewdaily, It's not too late to get in the game. I was in my thirties when I first got in the market. MF, IRAs, Roth. I just listened to what some people around me were doing and stripped out money to invest in the market. Read some books, listened to some Christian teachers and started on my way. In seventies now. Still a good place to drop some cash in Etfs and pick up individual stocks. Have Had several Advisors.

Yea, I agree with you on this. But after I got to thinking about all this, I had to ask myself, "how does a person begin to learn the things they need to know?" Well, after some thought & mixed experiences, I settled on reading 📚 beginner books, ebooks, & watching videos like these to help anchor & put together what I've already learned. Also, having an experienced person (mentor) that may know more helps (thats willing to share & give some gems in paying it forward), getting in investing clubs, communicating with ppl in financial discords, bringing minds together to get info. on how to do things, & look up info. on financial products/vehicles & things. Hope that helped some.

@ Thank you and that’s where I am right now Research, I am a natural researcher, I have been all of my life. Just so happen I am a Researcher and analyst professionally as well. So I am at the Research stage of investing, learning and comprehending. However it still feels foreign to me at the moment. But I know if I stay the course and connect with the right people, acquire information and apply what I’ve learned, I will soon build the portfolio that will benefit me and my family as well as see some friction. Thanks for the insight!

Just allocate $30 every two weeks to start. Once you start seeing the results and your money growth, proceed to add more. Also, most of us started with a small amount. I used to invest lunch money for work and made homemade sandwiches to eat instead.

A few questions: Does the price of the ETF matter like price matters for individual stocks? How do you determine a good price for an ETF? What should we know about the expense ratio? When is an expense ratio too high that it eats at returns? Is the only difference between investing in an Index Fund versus an ETF Fund is that ETF trades throughout the day.
