I had rm80C from 1978-80.
Never rode again until 1995 for a year or 2 on 1981 air-cooled rm400 2 stroke.
Never rode again till I was 50. Joined a club and had my first race on 2016 yz250.
Just about to turn 55 and I've done near 800 hours on 5 years.
Soo addicted.

Mate, serious commitment right there! I was very tempted to get a YZ250 but budget didn't allow for the moment plus I have pretty much been team green my whole racing journey. Had the RM80 '82 and '86 KX100 and a '87 KX125. The 125 was the most boring motor ever, mash-mellow power.
Those RM's must have been fun.

At 56yrs of age. I purchased and restored a 2000 Honda cr250r. Haven't ridden it much. But now I'm going to start riding more.

Sounds a lot like my story. Started back riding at age 56 to keep my 13 year old company on the track.😂
