Why is bystial with resonators as it would be part of the archetype? Under that logic, Seerax should had been able to use Dangers when he played Dark Worlds.
It was on the wheel, that they made a while ago. It’s not like he got resonators only on the wheel and then was like yeah imma add bystials too. He was going by what he spun on the wheel. No idea what you don’t understand.
@@Austin-l1j Sam makes the wheels, and the wheels periodically get updated. I agree with SeeReax that this is not an archetype, man. Resonator RDA is, for sure it is. But Bystial has no business being in this deck. Bystial is a different archetype from Resonator RDA. Sam put it on the wheel because he's used this deck before and really liked it, and killed the idea of the series, which is "Pure Archetype"
@@Austin-l1jBystial is its own archetype though, and even if you consider it a sub-archetype, it'd be under Branded/Albaz. It has nothing to do with RDA, and should have been considered staples if it was to be added.
The whole point of the Wheel is to play the deck in its purest form. Resonator/RDA is its own very separate and established archetype.
@@Austin-l1jconsidering bystials as an archetype are good enough that adding 3-4 of their cards could be considered staple worthy, If we playing off of what they wanted to play I’m sure seereax wanted to use his Slifer/ Exodia OTK deck but You can’t in pure exodia
@@javaughndouglas3641 I never said it was a sub archetype. Everyone obviously knows resonators is it’s own separate archetype. It just had resonators and bystials on the wheel. So the notion that since that’s the case Seereax should be able to add whatever he wants even tho that’s NOT on the wheel is ludicrous because Sam did not just randomly add the archetype when he spun resonators it was already ON the wheel.

Tenyi isn't connected to Swordsoul lore. Swordsoul is part of the Branded stuff.
@@pieoverlord Isnt Tenyi part of some of the swordsoul effects “Wyrms”? My bad if otherwise I assumed they were linked in lore because of that. Either way Tenyi Swordsoul makes sense versus Red Dragon Bystial branded.
@@hexisfierce6898Wyrm is just a type. There’s not a lot of Wyrm archetypes though which is probably why they let Tenyi and Swordsoul cards generically work with each other.

SeeReax was touching grass with Kasthira for the first time. But he could touch it faster by Terraforming Mars with a Planet Pathfinder.
Maybe, probably didn't want to use his normal summon or it was technicañly against the rules
Afik monster based support is only allowed when it's in Archetype. pathfinder is not legal in that sense

Maybe the creator of the wheel didnt realize how little kash has, and how much the entire resonator/archfiend archetype(that doesnt need bystials at all) could do on its own. Adding bystials, is like adding dimension shifter and banish support to kashtira, except that would actually make sense in kash's banishing theme, unlike adding random free summons to resonator just cuz "big dragon".

@Zeradias then shouldn't tenyi include Swordsoul then? They're both Wyrm but that didn't happen (Sam got tenyi deck from the wheel before) despite it making Synchro Level 8 much easier

Sam should really think about what to put in S+. Kashtira has too many cards banned for it to be S+ and Snake Eyes alone doesn't have anything. Without all the Link Monsters like Promethean Princess or stuff like that, Snake Eyes is B Tier maybe.

All Seereax had to do win was get a good hand, but obviously couldn't because 4 of his main architype is limited

So Sam you need to explain why is Bystials engine cards that are part of the Branded/Fallen of Albaz archetype. The deck you played is only S+ because of those cards and no other reason.

It really does. RDA uses some of the least outside support overall but Bystials take this deck over the edge. Dis Pater is pretty big.
@@malikjackson9337 well not really a lot of the "outside support" for RDA tends to be jack cards that just help the deck like wildwind and bone archfiend. They can run bystials because the numbers help

Bystials are weird cause their in that group of mini archetypes that we built to be supplements to other decks and not by themselves.
Their just kind of generic enough that they work anywhere like staples

@@jdp3578You're right, they are technically Branded support. However they were specifically designed to be staples as a counter for Tearlements and decks like it. They also are their own mini archetype aswell. That's why you can put them in almost any deck and they function like staples outside of stun decks and Time Tearing Morganite players.

Fiendish Chain is related to RDA, look up Fiendish Golem. That card mentions both RDA and Fiendish Chain. Though Sam never had Fiendish Golem in his list.

I thought the wheel only has one Archetype per each entry. Its kind of unfair to let Dragon Archfiend play with Bystials and Resonators.
More so Bystials as RDA is extra deck only/mainly and resonators are mainly tuners used for RDA if that makes sense.
There's no reason for Bystials to be included however.

haven't watched the episode, but it is pretty funny since they're mostly just bricks against Kashtira. I even sided most of them out during the kashtira meta, so God really does punish cheaters.

This episode was frustrating to watch because they weren't following the rules. I understand in certain circumstances that some decks will need one card (or two) that's unrelated to the archetype, monster type, attribute, etc or otherwise, it won't function properly. Fiendish Chain was literally a free staple, but in other episodes, it was made a huge deal when cards were added that weren't extremely broken or too OP.
I get it. Keeping up with Kashtira is impossible. I'm watching Seereax make these plays and I'm literally like "What the hell was Konami thinking when they made these cards, especially Arise Heart". Obviously, there are decks that perform way better than others, so it makes no sense to add Fiendish Chain when Seereax can be in the same predicament as Sam as the S+ tier series progresses.
lol this was long-winded, but I would like to see the decks played as pure as possible. If Archfiends can't keep up with Kashtira without Fiendish Chain, then it is what it is. I find it ridiculous that Bystials is a whole other archetype added to create this super archetype in addition to the Fiendish Chain (like damn it's a bit imbalanced). To wrap this up, these uneven matchups will happen to both Sam and Seereax, so exceptions (or extra additions, especially when they enter staple territory), shouldn't be made.
Fiendish chain is atleast arguably related/a part of the red archfiend deck (see fiendish golem). The bystial being fused with red archfiend though is ridiculous. Sure sam technically didnt break the rules in the battle but theres no reason those two archtypes shouldve ever been put together. Wasn't the whole point of the series to play the decks pure?

So, while it’s not a “Resonator” card, it does have interesting effects related to Fiend and Tuner monsters.

I usually love the content Sam, but Bystial is it's own archetype. Come on man. I know it's your channel and your wheel, but RDA and Bystial's is not an archetype.There is nothing connecting the two other then it meshes well. I think you should redo this, without the Bystial's. I would say the same thing if SeeReax won.
