I'm really glad people like Finn are so passionate about mental health awareness in the rock and metal scene. We're all humans, and we're in this together. Nobody is alone, no matter how much it feels like it.

Mental Health struggles will affect everyone at some point in their lives.
Those of us into heavy music…well, I’m not gonna speak for everyone, but along with myself and 95% of my closest friends and acquaintances, almost all of us come from rough shit in one form or another. We found community in the scene, some way, some how. Music brought us together, in an environment where we could get that shit out as a release through moshing, as well as creating our own music. I always try to talk to new people at shows, especially the ones off by themselves. I want them to feel welcome, and to know that someone sees them and cares about them. You never know what a simple “hello” can do to save someone’s life.
I appreciate that Finn takes this seriously, and was willing to listen to Adam on this.

Wow i can’t believe I missed this stream! Love lorna ofc. This also is a topic that needs discussed more in general and in music so looking forward to hearing Adam’s perspective and personal experiences.
I relate soo much to just being overall depressed for no apparent reason too. I go through times where I have nothing & broke af and am happy as ever then I have everything going for me but just can’t seem to stay happy for it all

    Thanks guys.
Putting this kind of raw emotion and insight into your psyche out there, is absolutely full on.
    I can relate 100%.
Please try not to let the darkness consume you.
That goes out to absolutely everyone in this comment section or who has watched the video.

I'm not a huge Lorna fan, but I 100% appreciate that Adam recognized what was going on and took the time and self reflection to put himself first! Bravo my friend. 👍🤘

This interview means so much to me. As someone that struggles with mental health, this resonates 100%. And coming from Adam De Micco , who I admire. Lorna Shore has elevated me on so many levels.

Can 100% relate. Sometimes there is no specific reason to be unhappy or have SH/SI thoughts.
We should all be more honest about our experiences. Hiding our emotions is what causes people to get overwhelmed and end their lives.

The ungrateful aspect of it all is so fuckin heavy. I am also very blessed yet eternally cursed by depression. I'm not ungrateful I'm just really confused and cornered. Adam, you're the fuckin man.

Hard relate. My life has never been this good before but I'm neck deep in a dep ep for no reason. The human brain can be such a tool.
The comparative suffering thing is spot on. If i can't feel bad because others have it worse, then I also can't be happy cos other people are happier etc. Its a no win situation.

I completely feel the sameway. Although good things are happening to you, you still will feel like you lost interest in everything.
