I cannot believe this song is already 10 years old. I heavily played this song during our family reunions in beaches when my mother and grandmother were still alive. They both died last year (2019). Songs like this always bring back their memories.
I loved the modern flare this video has. The music connects with the beach (calm, relaxing) and the power plant (modern) in a good way. I love how people interpret things so much deeper than the people who made it do.
i remember accidentally coming across this in the summer right after I graduated, 3 years ago. It was a time of indecision in my life when I needed to make several critical life decisions. I remember listening to this, and watching the video, and at that moment the combination just let me know "it's going to be okay". This song and it's carefree nature have always brought me back to reality, and given me the ability to appreciate the little things for what they are
Your choice was right No chance to leave it out I swear I'm not The one to lead you back It's yours to find It's all you've ever done You're falling down Youve falling down to us da da da da da
I listened to this song after having a phenomenal conversation with someone i just met, and then started sharing our identical musical tastes with. It was a really weird feeling at the time scrolling down and reading you had written exactly what I was thinking. Not often does that ever happen... Also its quite remarkable this song has the ability to produce youtube comments that arent all spam and garbage, and actually have sustinence to them.
this has been hands down my favorite song for over a year now. everything pales in comparison as far as giving me the "hey, life is good. enjoy it" feeling
the camera shots and work and cutting of the camera's angles to go with the beat and tempo of this song, one of my favorites songs you know. it's a real peice of art and made the song that much more enjoyable for me and good job n_n
i work in a levis store..and this songs on the soundtrack..you have no idea how long ive been trying to get the lyrics just right to find this song...im happy
Great job and great choice of music. Feel It All is also a great song. I disagree with the amateur statement. I'm a photographer too and I think everyone has their style and and I like your images/video along with the beats. The wheat and cooling towers is fantastic.
I love this song. This song is my favorite. Thank u Skins. I love FrEffy. I love Frederick McClair. I love Elizabeth Stonem. I love Freddie & Effy. I love Skins. :D

I saw one of Washed Out's other songs on mtvu at like 2 am once. I just happened to be flipping through channels and I discovered em, they've got some pretty good ones.
The videos that elicit this type of response are the only ones of value.. I'm glad this type of music in general is getting more popular. Even mainstream. Things are looking up!
This beat is from Planes trains and automobiles. "You wanna hurt me? Go right ahead if it makes you feel any better. I'm an easy target. Yeah, you're right, I talk too much. I also listen too much. I could be a cold-hearted cynic like you... but I don't like to hurt people's feelings. Well, you think what you want about me; I'm not changing. I like... I like me. My wife likes me. My customers like me. 'Cause I'm the real article. What you see is what you get." John candy

This song and video remind me of camping near Lake Michigan with my friends every summer.
God vacations there.
growing up in Wisconsin, I've come to cherish the Great Lakes. We need to protect these bodies of water people!!
these simple, vintage style videos go great with the reimagined chill 80s sound of chillwave songs, love it.

I hate when people say Electronic music isn't real music. This song makes me feels.
No it was filmed either in Illinois or Indiana, you can see Chicago to the northwest at the beginning of the video.

Probably , one of the most edge of the modern music . So jealous .
washed out is the band of complete unadulterated relaxation.
I wish he would sing in this high voice in more songs.
