I remember being a little primary kid and feeling the Spirit so strongly almost to the point of tears while listening to this song about our Savior Jesus Christ’s Atonement and love for us. I still love the song years later and draw back on that testimony building experience often. ❤️ I am so grateful for this song and that experience and my testimony. I know that Jesus is the Christ, He is my Savior, and He has a perfect love for me and He died and suffered the worst pain ever, so that I can repent, and so I that I can change, start over, and come back. I know He loves me and because of Him, I can return to live with my Heavenly Father again no matter how far I stray. I am so grateful to God and to Him. All glory to God, I am so grateful that He has blessed me with a testimony and for the gift of the Holy Ghost and my opportunity to have that in my life. God pointed me to this song as I was wrapping up my theology course. Yes, it resonates in my heart and brings me tears of joy each time I hear it. Our God is an AWESOME God, for he is willing to send his only son to buy us out of our sin so that we may enter His holy Kingdom by accepting his only son, Jesus Christ, as our personal savior.

This song is very special to me. I used to go to church with my grandma and she was amazing. I remember what she called “burning” a CD with this song. I sat on her lap while she created the CD. After she died I lost the CD but I recently found and it brings back so many memories listening to it. ❤

Maybe it's like in Man's search for happiness and old LDS show for world's fair, shows we lived before earth with Heavenly Father, to go away to school as it were to show we'd keep the faith, but we wouldn't always so a Saviour was needed, Jesus our Eldest Brother made the promise to be it for all mankind and you and me, it's part how we recognize truth that we knew before the veil was placed over us at birth, bso we could walk by faith, but some special heart warming times the veil is thin as we recognize Eternal truths, and feel Heavenly Father's and Christ's pure love for us, can also see that show on TH-cam, bit old but truth rings alot in each word of it

Mormons _do_ believe that Jesus _is_ God the Son, the Creator of the world, Jehovah / YHWH the Lᴏʀᴅ God of the Old Testament. We do also believe that God the Father, Elohim of the Old Testament, is a separate being, but that they and the Holy Ghost are one in purpose and intent, forming one Godhead - sort of like how there are nine Justices on the U.S. Supreme Court, but only one U.S. Supreme Court. This analogy (like all analogies) fail in that there can be dissenting opinions in Supreme Court cases, but never in the rulings of the Godhead. Neither of the Three will ever disagree with the others.
@@maggiec5984I am sorry and that's such a shame. My grandfather lived in Utah for 52 years before he was converted to the LDS Religion. He was loved by so many LDS friends, neighbors, family members etc but was stubborn in not wanting to know more. My father finally took him aside and explained WHY family and friends wanted to share the Gospel of Christ, Redemption, Resurrection etc. After he was baptized and when I finally saw him when I returned for a visit He Hugged me and with tears he said "I only wish I hadn't waited so long! It's brought me such Peace and JOY and Truth"! I'll never forget it. I'm sorry you haven't been welcomed here with open arms and acceptance! If I knew you'd I'd embrace you with LOVE!

Love the Garden of Gethsemane! I was lucky to have gone there. We walked along places where Jesus had been, and part of the path that the cross was carried. All along the way we would stop to see something interesting from that city's history. The tomb, the place where the cross was stood and part of it was still kept, also the tablet of stone where Jesus's body was prepared for the tomb. Many people were praying and doing rituals of sorts. I on the other hand, having being blessed with the experience of the Holy Spirit and knowing when the presence of it is strong. I was actively seeking it out in each place. For me, it was not until I was in that garden. The same Olive Garden of Gethsemane where Jesus Christ drank of that Bitter Cup. Then I felt the Sacred nature. Then I knew I was on Holy ground. It seemed as very few had any incling of the importance while I was there with the tour group. They moved on into a building next to it. Sitting there in a corner out of the way, I could only bask in the Light of Christ that filled my whole soul! I prayed for thanksgiving for that most important event. If you ever get the chance to be there, listen with your heart to in quiet humility. It will come as a witness in any Holy Ground you find yourself in.
