Cheers Dave!, Was the first Family Winter holiday, had a great time will definitely go back!, swapped my contour for a gopro on this holiday and far prefer the gopro! better quality and better footage! :)
Scott McAuley GoPros are magic, just don't try and change the battery in a snow storm, I did that in La Plagne last year, then all the footage from the afternoon looked like it was a thick fog :-( I have a couple of HD2's haven't got myself one of the cases yet for making 3D captures, but it is on the cards!
Scott McAuley not sure whether my first comnent was deleted successfully. What i meant to say was, when you said the GoPro was better, were you comparing the latest GoPro to the latest Contour? Or were you comparing the latest GoPro to something like the Contour GPS or older?
+1Flyingfist I was comparing my 2013 Contour+ HD against the GoPro Hero 3 Black edition. Hero 4 is now 4K res, so knocks the socks of my Hero 3, but Hero 3 is still great quality :)
