I always give newer coaches of lower clubs a grace year - usually takes a season to get their systems and players in line. I mean Ciro was copping it like crazy last year
for Benji and Ciro it’s not even a grace period. It’s just a long-term strategy. Last year was the first year in awhile not the Tigers didn’t throw stupid money at a marquee signing as a Hail Mary to make the 8. Just like the 2023 bulldogs we blooded the youth which is the best way forward given the amount of quality juniors we have in the south west of Sydney. playing these kids on bottom dollar contracts keep the salary cap in order for the long-term.
@@adamsteel7147 Agree on the SW juniors but they built the academy at Concorde. WTs home has to be Campbelltown, it is where most of the players will come from.
28:31 nah Roger looked pretty shit at fullback in a tight win over the tigers this year. Like Manu or Tedesco at their worst they can stifle the attack on the long shifts. Needs some more time to develop the ball playing.
The knights being given a D is ridiculous. That squad over achieved just like the bulldogs did that roster is 10 - 14th at best. Not even a knights fan up the Bronx!! Everything else pretty spot on.
The NRL season was going strong until State of Origin disrupted the momentum. After that, interest waned, and the season limped into the finals. Every year, the three Origin games disrupt the NRL, and if this issue isn’t addressed, the AFL could dominate the eastern states. Now, we’re watching the NRL's top players wear themselves out against small Pacific Island nations and an English side that few in England even follow. The NRL needs to be saved from this madness
Gents surely Panthers 4-Peat is the story? I agree SOO and Dogs were good stories, but the winner is the only one that we will remember in coming years. SOO and most improved blurs into the background…
You’d think so but I feel like it was a bigger deal with the 3peat - atp ppl just expect ppl to win. I do think the doggies ended up being a bigger storyline
@@taiyonatiare7918 but the doggies could go backwards next year like the Wahs and Bronx did. No guarantees here and at the end of the day they didn’t go deep into finals. Their story would be bigger if they went on to win a premiership in 2025, but if they fell back it would be just for nothing…

Hows Luai gonna go from being in a team that love him but can win without, to a team that barely knows him and thinks he can win for them before he even arrives?? Talk about stepping out of your comfort zone. I hope they play well for Jerome.
It's not that hard to stand out for souths this year. But to do so, you had to play good, or no one would really notice in a team that's down. GOOD ON TYRONE.
The hype over benji is crazy. Why on earth would you think he’ll bring structures and better defence. He was never that kind of player. He was always off cuff, no strategy.

Nah it was Bevan French. Best warriors player this year
The bulldogs hype is so crazy, they won’t even make the prelims next year 😂
Dogs need two big props
won't even make finals
Warriors best player was Barnett and it’s not even close. RTS is such a lazy choice.

James, your agenda with Moses and the Eels is clear. Not only do you sound foolish, but you come across that way as well.
hey James you reckon parramatta should go all in to bring back 'Bevan French'.

Totally agree, they defended their way to a finals spot when the attack didn’t click all year. that is a massive overachievement in my books.
